Ear Flaps: With st markers, mark of 13 sts for each ear flap, 24 sts for the front of the hat, 15 sts for the back of the hat. Hold one earflap section with wong side facing you. Join yarn with a sl st in the fifth dc from the right hand marker. R1: Sk the next dc, 5 dc in the next dc, sk the next dc, sl st in the next dc, bring yarn to the front of your work, sl st in the next 2 dc instering hook back to front, turn R2: Sk the sl sts, 2 dc in each dc, sk the next dc on hat, sl st in the next dc, bring yarn to the front of your work, sl st in the next 2 dc instering hook back to front, turn R3: Sk the sl sts, 2 dc in each of the next 2 dc, dc in the next dc, 2 dc in the next dc, dc in the next 2 dc, 2dc in the next dc, 2 dc in each of the next 2 dc, sk the next st on hat, sl st in the next dc Fasten off. Weave in ends. Repeat in other ear flap section.

Weave in ends.

Sew feathers onto crown of hat. Pin down eyebrow centered over front of hat, allowing the point of the eyebrow to hang down a little over the edge of the hat. Sew in place.
