Jonathan Foster (Family Physician)
As a doctor working in the community it is important to refresh one's knowledge as well as staying up-to-date with new advances. The AIM course is well run, punctual and includes good relevant lectures. Most speakers are university lecturers and used to giving clear and concise talks. Subjects are discussed to a detail relevant to primary care. As a general family physician, I would recommend this course to my colleagues. It is rare for me not to find relevance to my clinical practice numerous times during each afternoon session.

Licca Yeh (Nurse)

It is a very intensive and easy way to update my medical knowledge in various medical sub-specialties. I have learnt more about the current trend in managing different diseases and the latest drugs currently marketed or still under investigations. The sharing in lectures is also very inspiring. I would highly recommend this course to those who would like to have clinical practice in a safe and up-to-date manner, as well as those who would like to meet and study with their old medical school friends!

Godfrey Lui (Pharmacist)

This course gives me a detailed and holistic update on the advances of various fast-changing therapeutic areas, it also allows me to build on new knowledge at the clinical specialty level as well as refresh on various therapeutic areas in which I only occasionally encounter in my practice. Because this course is also designed for various health care professionals, it enables me to appreciate the clinical care considerations as well as goals of other health care professionals and thus enhances collaborative and holistic patient care. The speakers are very knowledgeable as well as experienced, many of the speakers are the leading experts in the field and set standards in various diseases areas. The broad coverage of this course allows a quick update for continuing education purposes for experienced practitioners. Any health care professionals who have no spare time during weekdays and only available on Sundays and eager to keep up-to-date with the latest advances in disease diagnosis and management should take this course. It is also suitable for someone who wish to develop professional networks with various health care professionals.

Grace Tsang (Overseas Medical Graduate)

As a LMC graduate, I find this course very useful and up-to-date, which helped me immensely in the preparation of the LMC exam. Medicine is a life long learning subject, it is continuously changing and upgrading, this course definitely helps every medical person to be updated. I enjoyed the case discussion most, as they are based on real case experienced by the doctors and most importantly they guide you through the whole management process. The speakers are either professors or consultants who are very experienced and knowledgeable. I also find them very friendly and approachable, as they welcome questions after every lecture. Though the class is held only once a month over a 2-year period, the material covered is comprehensive, precise, up-to-date and very relevant to our daily practice.

Gary Chan (Overseas Medical Graduate)

This course is useful and appropriate to all practicing front line doctors. It highlights the most up-to-date evidence based medicine with practical case study examples to illustrate how to clinically apply such knowledge. Case studies are well selected to bring out pertinent teaching points. Topics chosen are relevant to everyday practice and are well delivered by eminent speakers of the highest quality.

Sandy Kwan (Nurse)

Taking this course enabled me to widen my horizon in my profession and this definitely enriched my knowledge and experience in my career. The topics covered are comprehensive and practical, I find them inspiring and beneficial. As a responsible nursing staff member, I think it is momentous to grasp hold of any chance to improve ourselves and to strive to do better. This course is especially helpful and important to those who want to excel themselves in their profession.

Vincent Chan (Family Physician)

I graduated from the medical school in early 80s. Participating in this course has really updated me with recent advances in medicine. The course is practical and interactive which covers cases that you will encounter in your daily practice.

Purple Tse (Physiotherapist)

I can reconfirm myself that the idea of enrolling a physiotherapist in a "medicine course" was a sapient decision. Although I don't practise medicine directly, knowledges acquired in this course can definitely open more options to my clients for better holistic treatments. Course layout and topics are well designed and lecturers deliver the latest technology and experience. I would surely recommend this course to all doctors and paramedical colleagues. Thanks to CUHK Department of Medicine & Therapeutics, this once doctors-only information is now opened to nurses, pharmacists and physiotherapists.
