IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATE

1. Admission to the test center will be on production of this admit card only. 2. In case the photograph/Signature is not uploaded/printed above or is not visible/clear, the candidate should affix his/her recent passport size photograph in the space provided and get it as well as the candidates signature attested by a Gazetted Officer. 3. Candidate to bring one photo identity proof (Driving license/Voter ID Card etc.) in original for verification purpose.Departmental candidates should also bring their ONGC Id Card. 4. Candidate is required to carry with him his own blue/ black ball point pen in adequate numbers. 5. Candidate is advised to make sure about the location of examination centre in advance so that he/she appear for the examination on the specified date and centre at least 30 minutes before commencement of the exam. 6. At the Examination center, the candidate must occupy the seat allotted against his ro ll number and is expected to maintain discipline. Thus interchanging seats, creating disturbance, exchanging notes, consulting/ talking to each other, seeking/ receiving any help from external means / using mobile phones etc. will result in cancellation of his candidature for the post. Candidates found using unfair means will be disqualified. 7. The admission to the Examination Centre will be allowed from 09:30 AM. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall after 10:30 AM under any circumstances. They will not be allowed to leave the examination hall till the completion of the test. 8. Mobile phone, pager, electronic calculator, text book, notes, scales and logarithm table shall not be permitted during the test. Candidates have to make their own arrangement to keep these items out of the Examination Centre. 9. The test consists of 3 sections. (1) General Awareness: 40 MCQs having 40 Marks, (2) Concerned Discipline/Domain /Subject: 80 MCQs having 80 Marks, (3) Aptitude Test: 30 MCQs having 30 Marks . Test Duration is 3 hours. 10. There is NO negative marking. 11. Candidate to ensure that his signature and invigilators signature are put (in the space provided for it) on the Admit Card as well as on OMR answer sheet & attendance sheet, failing which the OMR answer sheet will be treated as invalid. 12. Candidate to please hand over the Question booklet & OMR Answer sheet along with Admit Card to the invigilator before leaving examination room. 13. Candidate should keep a copy of this Admit Card with him as this Admit Card has to be submitted to the Invigilator at the time of examination. 14. SC/ST/PWD candidates are eligible for reimbursement of 2nd class rail/bus fare by the shortest route, on production of original railway/bus ticket and SC/ST caste/ PWD disability certificate failing which No TA will be Paid. TA form can be downloaded from our website, duly filled in and submitted for payment. 15. ONGC reserves the right to cancel the process if considered necessary at any stage of selection/appointment. 16. Candidate to please note that this Admit Card does not confer an offer of employment to him. His candidature for this test is provisional and is subject to his fulfilling the educational and other eligibility criteria prescribed for the post. Mere attending the written test does not bind ONGC to select the candidate for employment. 17. Canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify the candidature.
