Background

Africa Nazarene University is a leading private, higher education Christian institution that was established in 1994. It started as a small University only offering Degree programs in Business Administration, Computer Science and Theology. In 1998, it diversified and introduced other programs like Bachelor of Mass Communication., BBIT, Commerce. In 2002, the University was given a Charter by the Kenyan government, making it the first private university to get a charter in less than 10years.

Available at our main campus in Ongata, Rongai. Weekdays from 8:00am - 5:10pm Available at our town campus. Located on Ngong Road, at the Central church of the Nazarene Weekdays 5:10pm - 8:30pm Saturday 9:00am - 1:00pm

Entry Requirements
Undergraduate
Minimum KCSE aggregate C+ for students from Kenya. Foreign students must have attained a C+ in their countrys examination equivalent to KCSE. All applicants must demonstrateproficiency in English and meet relevant departmental requirements.

Part Time Courses

Minimum B in the graduate degree

The University is under the Nazarene Church. It does not only offer academic excellence to its students but it provides them with spiritual guidance and moulds them into God fearing people. The University also provides its students with professional and moral training, equipping them with life long skills which will help them face the world and stand firm in the job market.

For day scholars ,the University Cafeteria offers snacks, drinks, and hot meals to students and staff at reasonable prices .The food is prepared by University staff who maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

Admissions;
Students applying to join the undergraduate programs are required to sit for an internal placement exam. The University also offers Diploma courses in: Business Administration Management Specialized Education Public Administration Accounting and Taxation

Africa Nazarene University is located off Maasai Lodge Road in Ongata Rongai. If you are using public transport take a matatu to Rongai from the Railways Bus station.
