Supertyphoon Pablo threatens CVRAA 2012

The second day of the sports competition was threatened by a weather disturbance codenamed Pablo, a supertyphoon. All activities were suspended. There was fear for an extension of one day to cover up the lost time.

Pablo was very strong. It carried winds of 170 miles per hour and it was easy for him to topple down trees and EXECUTIVE STAFF banana trees to the ground. It HON. Pablo hits Dumaguete during the second day of the CVRAA 2012 mood. Look around and you will see stars of all colors, shapes and sizes on the ground, blown to destruction. But Pablo wasnt able to destroy the spirit of the delegates; athletes, coaches and the different committees. Before you know it, the place come alive again as if there was no Pablo passing by.

Tagbilaran Division give thanks to the Host Schools

The Tagbilaran City delegation gave a return party for the school heads and teachers of the host schools, Junob Elementary and Secondary Schools together with their partner schools Cadawinonan Elementary School and Balugo Elementary School in the afternoon of December 6, 2012. It was attended by the teachers and school heads of the two schools and the Punong Barangay of Talay, Dumaguete City, Mr. Osias Pino. A short program was prepared in which the division superintendent of Tagbilaran City extended her deepest gratitude for the warm acceptance of the delegation.

Captured Moments of the CVRAA

Athletes of Tagbilaran City Division are ready to go and play.

Junob Elementary School is Tagbilaran City Divisions Home away from home.

Tagbilarans Lawn Tennis Elementary Doubles landed second best in their category and added another silver medal to the Tagbilaran City Delegation.

Tagbilaran Taekwondo Team Elementary Division added more medals to our delegation medal tally.

Regional Personnel headed by Dr. Degamo visited the Tagbilaran City Division during the Thanksgiving Party given to the host schools.

Cultural Show: the Other Side of CVRAA 2012

Three cultural numbers from the delegation were presented during the cultural night held at the West City Central School. One portrayed an old tradition in courtship , called Balitaw performed by TCCES teacher Ms. Angusthia Kaderon and Cogon ES teacher Mr. Victor Boniel. Another number is an unpublished dance version from Garcia Hernandez portraying the peoples livelihood, panning the river for gold. This is performed by the SPA students of DCPNHS. The last performance is a song number from a Grade 6 Cogon ES pupil Ms. Charity Dawn Monteron. All three presentations caught the appreciation of the audience.
