The International Committee of the Red Cross is a neutral, impartial and independent humanitarian organization that works to protect

and assist people affected by armed conflict and violence. The ICRC has been working in the Philippines for more than 50 years. It carries out a range of activities to meet the needs of displaced and other vulnerable people, promote respect for international humanitarian law, and respond to emergencies, often in cooperation with its local partner, the Philippine Red Cross.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is presently responding to emergency needs in areas hardest hit by Typhoon Bopha/Pablo. To support humanitarian operations in eastern Mindanao, the ICRC is urgently recruiting qualified and experienced individuals for the following positions: 1. FIELD OFFICERS Participates in the assessment and monitoring of humanitarian and general economic/security situation in the region; closely coordinating with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) for joint ICRC/PRC activities Profile: Bachelors degree in public administration, public health, social work, community development, nursing or equivalent; 2-year work experience is a similar function; fluent in English, Tagalog and local language; good computer skills; good communication and analytical skills; good driving skills with valid driving license 2. FINANCE/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTS Supports all departments in requisition of office supplies and maintenance of facilities/premises; supports operations field activities, including arrangement of hotel accommodations and airport transport; manages office inventory and oversees housing premises; serves as IT relay by ensuring communication equipment are ready for use when needed; ensures that human resources are supported in performing their tasks; manages petty cash fund and bookkeeping Profile: Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, accounting or equivalent; 4-year work experience in related position; good command of written and spoken English, Tagalog and local language; very good computer skills; very good communication and analytical skills, good team leadership skills 3. LOGISTICS ASSISTANTS Monitors the status of incoming supplies and materials; liaises with requesters/warehouse in-charge to ensure safe and orderly reception/delivery of materials/goods; supervises drivers and manages transportation services; in-charge of local purchasing Profile: Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, accounting or equivalent; 4-year work experience in related position; good command of written and spoken English, Tagalog and local language; very good computer skills; very good communication and analytical skills, good team leadership skills 4. DRIVERS Drives ICRC vehicles and assures safe transportation of passengers/materials/goods to and from various destinations while following ICRC security and national traffic rules Profile: College graduate or college level; 2-year work experience as a driver; good command of spoken English, Tagalog and local language; excellent driving skills; driving license for at least 5 years; good geographical knowledge of Mindanao; basic mechanical skills

5. DOMESTIC STAFF

Performs office and housing maintenance activities with the purpose of keeping the premises clean and neat; clothes washed and ironed; kitchen/pantry dishes washed; office and pantry supplies replenished regularly Profile: High school graduate; work experience as a domestic staff; basic knowledge of English, Tagalog and local language; good physical condition; honest and reliable
