Meet a few of Sinais Eineklach living in Eretz Yisroel
heres nothing like avira dEretz Yisroel for spiritual inspiration. Thats why Sinai talmidim are encouraged to continue their learning in Eretz Yisroel after they graduate. When they are far from the distractions of life in America, says Rabbi Mendel Silberberg, Sinais twelfth grade Rebbe, they get more involved in their learning and surprise themselves with how well they are shteiging. Aside from the many Sinai bochurim who are learning in Yerushalayim, alumni of all ages are currently kollel yungerleit living in neighborhoods of Ezras Torah, Ramot, Neve Yaakov, Kiryat Sefer and other chareidi areas. They are outstanding avreichim in prominent yeshivos such as Beitar Kollel, Kiryas Sefer Kollel, Mikdash Melech, Mir, Rav Avrohom Yehoshua and Rav Tzvi Kaplan, among many others. Their children are accepted into the most prestigious chadorim in Eretz Yisroel. Although the Sinai graduates began

their lives in the former USSR, totally devoid of Yiddishkeit, their children BH have the zechus of growing up in avira dEretz Yisroel. During his annual visit, Rabbi Silberberg arranged a gathering and a seudas siyum mesechte for alumni and their families. R Eli Shulgin, a Sinai graduate, who has come a very long way, made a siyum lkovod the gathering. Even the caterer was astounded. I cant believe that these avreichim were once Russian immigrants with no Yeshiva background. The yungerleit and their wives form a network and are mechazek each other in acclimating to the culture in Eretz Yisroel. One young couple, still in shana rishona, had just arrived and were apprehensive about starting their married lives in a strange land. Now theyre not worried anymore. They have their Sinai family as a support system that enables them to succeed in their new environment.
