Commissioning of the Klipwal Tailings Project and Commencement of Production

HIGHLIGHTS Commissioning of the Klipwal Tailings Project completed ahead of schedule and below budget 12 000t of Tailings Material processed during the November commissioning phase, resulting in gold production of 158.73oz (4.6kg) On track to ramp up to full production to 20 000tm (424oz pm) by February 2013* Tailings Project achieved financial breakeven during commissioning period Klipwal Mine Stonewall Resources (Stonewall) is pleased to announce that the commissioning of the Klipwal Tailings Project has been completed. The Klipwal Mine is one of the areas of gold mineralisation of Bosveld Mines Proprietary Limited, a subsidiary of Stonewall. The commissioning of the Klipwal Tailings project was completed and 12 000t of material was processed in November 2012. The operation produced 158.73oz of gold, generating $280 700 of revenue. This represented a profit of approximately $12 000 for the month, resulting in the operation achieving a breakeven financial position during its commissioning period. CEO Lloyd Birrell commented, We are delighted to have concluded the commissioning of the Klipwal Tailings project. The project was commissioned on time and within budget. In addition, the project delivered a breakeven result from sales during the commissioning stage. The total cost of commissioning the Klipwal Tailings Project was approximately $734 000. This cost was 26% below budget. The operation will ramp up to full production targeting gold production of 424oz per month by the end of February 2013, a month ahead of schedule*. This will result in annualised production of 5000oz per annum from surface operations. Combined Production The production from Klipwal will increase Stonewalls total production from 6 000oz per annum to 11 000oz per annum. The Klipwal Tailings Project will generate revenue of approximately $732 071 per month thereby increasing the groups monthly revenue from gold production by 88% from $831 900 to $1 563 972 per month*.

Bosveld Mines Bosveld Mines is located at Klipwal in the KwaZulu-Natal Province of South Africa. The Bosveld Mines rights area covers 7 837Ha and has significant existing infrastructure already in place. The project contains two areas of gold mineralisation at Klipwal Mine and Kortnek Mine prospect area. The Klipwal Mine has been mined since 1898 with estimated historical production of 250 000oz. Stonewall has identified excellent surface and underground exploration targets at both deposits.

Infrastructure Plan In addition, the dewatering program of the existing underground development at Klipwal is currently under way, enabling underground exploration to commence. Stonewall intends to expedite drilling and scoping studies at Klipwal and Kortnek to establish a JORC compliant mineral resource before conducting feasibility studies to determine appropriate mining plans to develop the underground resources.

ABOUT STONEWALL RESOURCES LIMITED Stonewall Resources Limited (ASX: SWJ) is a gold mining company making the transition from explorer to producer. The Company holds a range of prospective gold assets, most of which are located in the worldrenowned South African gold mining regions. These South African assets, which include several surface and nearsurface gold mineralisations, provide cost advantages relative to other gold producers in the region. With significant infrastructure already in place, Stonewall is uniquely positioned to make the transition to producer through highly efficient utilization of capital and within short lead times. Stonewalls three key projects are the TGME Project, located around the towns of Pilgrims Rest and Sabie in the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa (one of South Africas oldest gold mining districts), the Bosveld Project, located in South Africas KwaZulu-Natal Province, and the Lucky Draw Project, located in Australia, near the township of Burraga in New South Wales. The Companys exploration program is designed to identify additional potential Mineral Resources to establish longterm mining plans. Stonewall is currently processing gold from tailings dumps located within its TGME and Bosveld Projects, from which it is earning revenue and aims to introduce two additional near term production targets during 2013.
