Ingredients:
100 g plain flour 50 g butter 8 teaspoons cold water
Equipment:
scales large mixing bowl dinner knife sharp knife chopping board pastry tin
Savoury filling:
1 egg teaspoon mustard 100ml milk pepper onion 1 rasher bacon grated cheese
Sweet filling:
100 g chocolate tablespoon yoghurt strawberries
Method:
1. Rub the butter into the flour and make fine breadcrumbs. Add enough water to make it into a dough. 2. Roll out the pastry and lay into a pastry tin and press into all of the edges. Prick the base with a fork and place onto a baking tray. 3. Grate the cheese, chop the onion and slice the bacon and place into the pastry. Whisk the egg and milk together and add the mustard. Pour this over the top. 4. Place into the oven, also place empty pastry cases in too. Make sure the bottoms are pricked. 5. Once cooked place the quiches onto a cooling tray. 6. Melt the chocolate and add it with the yoghurt to the empty pastry cases, decorate with sliced strawberries.
