Job Description: 1. Development, promotion and implementation of university policy on international programs for teaching and research and academic ties with institutions abroad in coordination with the Steering Committee. Initiation, marketing and enlisting resources for the study programs, exchange of researchers and students. 2. Initiation and preparation of a program of teaching and research ties with universities abroad, including the development of graduate programs. 3. Overall responsibility (One stop shop) for taking care of students, academic faculty researchers, interns and academic guests with foreign passports. Responsibility for entry visas, work visas, medical insurance and assistance in seeking accommodation. 4. Characterization, development and management of a database of foreign passport holders being hosted at the university as well as of students and faculty leaving to take part in exchange programs. 5. Responsibility for accompanying and providing information to researchers (hosting and supervising) and visitors with foreign passports on any matter relating to absorption, registration procedures, time in Israel and abroad, rights and obligations as students and university employees, ties with universities abroad, in coordination with the appropriate departments. 6. Formulating procedures and guidelines including administrative units providing services to the related foreign population. 7. Representation of the University in international forums and participation in the activities of international programs for overseas students at the University. 8. Maintaining an ongoing relationship with universities and institutions abroad. 9. Carrying out duties in accordance with the instructions of the supervisor. 10. Skills required: 1. 2. 3. 4. Ph.D. At least 5 years of experience in management of academic system and related fields. English at mother tongue level. Experience in senior management, employee motivation and excellent human relations. 5. Experience in creating work plans, operational plans and budget management. 6. Experience working with academic programs in Israel and abroad.

Position: 100%, temporary budgetary
