PART A 1.0. Introduction Entrepreneurs are crucial element for ones country development. According to Hisrich et al. (2008), the entrepreneur is individuals who take a risk and start a new business. From an economic standpoint, entrepreneurs seen as someone who combine resources, labor, materials and other assets to a combination of better value and also a person who introduces changes, innovations and new ways in the market. Being entrepreneur is satisfying personal needs and also the society needs since entrepreneurs provide service and product. James Yong Chau Leong is Sabahan entrepreneur that just receiving two outstanding Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (SMEs) awards at state and national levels. Therefore, James Yong Chau Leong successfulness can be an inspiration to graduates especially bumiputera's graduate to involve in entrepreneurship. However, according to Salamah bin Ishak (2009) stated that entrepreneurship career choice is not favoured by younger people, especially graduates, who see entrepreneurship as only a second or even last choice. Most of the graduates prefer to be unemployed compare to start their own business.

1.2 Terms of Reference On the 13 March 2012, Ms. Jenny Mosikon lecturer for BEL422 (Report Writing) instructed the students to conduct a study based on the field of study. Aqeeda Ezzati Abekan (2011689514), Hazlini Thamrin (2010215012), Mazdollyna Majalin Eborok (2010868122) and Noratifah Yusup (2010803984) prepared this report as a part of the requirements for BEL422, Report Writing Course. The purpose of this research is to investigate the students perception towards being entrepreneur or intrapreneur after graduating from Universities and college. The reasons for conducting this research is to determine the rational reason what makes them not to choose entrepreneur as in other words run their own business. At the end of this research, we hope that the objective can be achieved and the main reasons can be found so that any parties can take action such lecturer can change the students view in being entrepreneurship. A report for this study is to be submitted on 9th June 2012.

1.3 Problem Statement Entrepreneurship is rarely considered to be a career option among Malaysian graduates. Recently, there has been an increased inclination for entrepreneurship among graduates, but the number of participating graduates remains low. (Salmah bin Ishak,2009). The major concern of this study is to investigate the students perception towards being entrepreneur or intrapreneur after graduating. Research objectives: i. To identify the factors that contributes to their choice of job. ii. To find out whatever former graduates prefer to be entrepreneur or intrapreneur.

1.4 Methods

Background information for this study was obtained from the statistic and facts on the internet that stated only 2.9 per cent graduates becomes entrepreneurship. According to Salamah bin Ishak (2009) stated that entrepreneurship career choice is not favoured by younger people, especially graduates, who see entrepreneurship as only a second or even last choice. This study adopted the questionnaire survey technique. Therefore, to investigate whether this facts relevant especially on bumiputera graduates, UiTM student were choose to be the respondent. 100 questionnaire surveys were distributed to the students. The respondents were asked prior to answering the question that related to the objective of this research. The question also contain the factor whether the respondents want or do not want to be an entrepreneurship. Other than that, the respondents also ask about the factor that influences them in order to make choices whether to be an entrepreneurship or intraprenuership. Lastly, the respondent also needs to give their own perception or opinion on being an entrepreneurship.
