Trekkers would like this place as there area series of hills which are easily trekkable. Its around 70 Kms from Bangalore on Tumkur road. Route: Bangalore Nelamangala Dabaspet Devarayanadurga. 2. Sivaganga: This is another conical shaped hill in the same direction as Devarayanadurga. There are temples dedicated to Gangadhara and Honnadevi. There is a fresh water spring called Pathala Ganga. Trekkers would like this place as the trek to top of the hill after the temples is quite a challenge as the path is quite steep. Savandurga; considered to be the largest monolith hills in the world, has two hills known as Karigudda (black hill) and Biligudda (white hill). Kanva Reservoir: Located 65 Kms from Bangalore this reservoir has been formed because of the Kanva Dam built across the river Kanva. It nests lots of migratory birds and good for bird watching.
