Special events Lunchtime Author Reading Some Place South of Perfect Andrew Byrne reads from his new book and discusses the experience of self publishing. Amazon vouchers will be awarded to winners in each age group. Christmas Carol Concert Join the Alexandra Park Library Community Choir in a concert of carols for Christmas. This is a family event, and drinks and nibbles will be provided. Saturday 15th December, 3.00pm Christmas Special Drama Workshop The Playing Space will be running a Christmas-themed drama workshop in the library. For 4 to 7 year olds, the fun-filled hour will be packed with movement games, communication exercises, character work and exciting improvisations. Family Learning Brilliant Stories (FREE) A unique chance for parents and carers to learn to use tablet computers and an app to make up stories with photos, pictures, sounds and words to use with their children. Learn story telling skills and how you can help your children develop.
