Bossmanfilter B1500 LS & SW Series Fabricated In-Line Basket Strainer housings effectively remove dirt, pipe scale, and other contaminants from process liquids such as water, chemical and petroleumproducts. Standard housing material is either 316 Stainless Steel or Carbon Steel. Housings come equiped with a standard 1/8" perforated Stainless Steel basket. These strainers are necessary to provide protection for metering systems against dirt and other foreignmaterial. The large screen area and streamlined flow path minimize pressure drop.The sturdy basket can withstand a 3.3 bar differential pressure without bursting and is easily removed for cleaning. Many features of these strainer housings can be customized such as material of construction, closure style, pressure rating, connection style and size, and optional support legs. Other perforation sizes or mesh lined baskets are also available. Features Streamlined Flow Path For lower pressure drop. Large Screen Area For less frequent cleaning. Separable Inner Basket For easy cleaning. Standard Specifications Design and Fabrication Fabricated according to ASME,DIN / EN specifications. Temperature Range -29C to +65C with Buna-N Sealing. Body Material Carbon steel to EN Standard. Flanges Carbon steel raised face according to DIN/EN or ANSI B16.5. Supports Three (3) legs are standard on models 200 to 600 Strainers. Closure Blind flange for models 50-150, as shown in the Closures section below). Convexed-Blind Flange (for SW models 200-600). Elastomer Seals Buna-N. Basket(s) Stainless steel perforated plate 10 mm diameter holes on 13 mm staggered centers. Air Vent 1/2" NPT plugged. Differential Pressure Taps 1/2" NPT plugged.
