Job Title : Fundraising Officer


Program : Individual Donors Program
Reports to : Individual Donors Program Manager

Specific Duties and Responsibilities


0. Responsible for all online channels and programs that focus on individual donors for
WWF
0. Works with IDP manager and agencies/consultants to develop online fundraising and
communications strategy.
0. Responsible for collecting and analyzing online market information via appropriate
data gathering methodologies.
0. Designs low-cost high-impact member acquisition channels (web, social networks etc.)
to expand membership base, tests and delivers defined target number of new
members per month.
0. Works with service providers and ensures the development of new channels and
contingency channels to meet acquisition objectives
0. Coordinate with communications department communications and brand-building
strategies that will support acquisition efforts.
0. Coordinates with the IDP Manager and Marketing Head to determine new member
objectives, financial requirements and identifies risks and means to mitigate
risks.
0. Establishes and implements tracking procedures for each channel and generates
weekly reports on channel productivity – to analyze productivity, weaknesses,
learnings and reports to management regularly.
0. Formulates and implements procedures for channel roll-out and maintenance in
coordination with appropriate departments and divisions to achieve results.
0. Ensures compliance with WWF policies, values, ethical and legal frameworks.

Facilitating Change:
0. Participates actively in WWF’s undertakings on changing organization’s climate to
foster innovation and professionalism
0. Assists in the processes to ensure organizational changes are implemented effectively.
Achieving Results:
0. Accountable for meeting new membership objectives, online channel response rates,
cost per new member, revenue objectives from new members, attrition.
0. Manages acquisitions budgets, identifies financial risks and opportunities in
maintaining budget.

Managing People & Relations:


0. Ensure good working relationship with service providers
0. Provides good customer service to the members and prospective members.
0. Attend regular staff meetings and participates in regular planning and assessment
meetings with staff vis-à-vis set plans.

Managing Resources:

Manages efficiently the resources of WWF. This includes ensuring resources are used in
a sustainable way and identifying ways for reducing the overall consumption of finite
resources

Takes responsibility in the safekeeping, proper use and upkeep of WWF equipment in
the office and in the field (i.e. computers, vehicles, etc.)

Handles cash advances and liquidates the same within required period per Project and
WWF Policy.

Managing Information and Knowledge:

Manages the database on members to ensure these information are used, stored,
accessed and analyzed for decision making and to make sure of its confidentiality when
necessary
Upholds the intellectual property rights of WWF Foundation over data and information
on its Members

Others

Ensures professionalism in conducting business within and outside WWF.


Participates in official activities of WWF (e.g. Organizational Development, Assessment,
Strategic Planning, Rest and Recreation and the like) when participation is so required
Supports WWF’s efforts to build its membership in support of the institution’s
sustainability.
Upholds the high quality standard of WWF’s work and actively advocates the institution’s
Vision, Mission and Strategies.
Internalizes the values of WWF and practices the work ethics of the institution.
Performs other jobs in relation to Membership Development.
Identifies own values, capabilities and capacity and how best you can contribute to the
organization
Evaluates own knowledge, skills and competence in the light of job requirements and
personal aspirations, plan your development, develop our knowledge, skills and
competence in line with your plans and evaluate your learning and development.

Qualifications:

Musts:
-committed to WWF mission to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment
and build a future In which humans live within planetary limits

-graduate of a marketing/business/IT related university degree


-3-4 years work experience, including setting up and managing online marketing/sales
programs
-has existing contacts with reputable/proven service providers
- able to evaluate site usability & to direct designers to improve current site
-able to implement tracking measures for online channels
-skills in basic web design/programming/production

Preferred:
-experience in online comms planning
-entrepreneurial/leadership skills
-active in online/social networks
-online brand management and/or fundraising experience
