Akhand Saubhagya yoga of females

-Kaushal Gupta Loss of wife and more particularly of husband is considered a great loss in our society. The women who die earlier than their husbands are considered fortunate and akhand saubhagyawati. Death rate of men is certainly higher than women as per survey. The life of women is full of happiness and pride so long as their husband's are alive. Besides the emotional void created by the death of either partner other aspects such as economic and other practical problems like running the household and bringing up children arise. Here we are making an honest and sincere effort to explain the combinations in the horoscope of a woman to attain Saubhagya yoga. While matching of horoscopes before marriage this factor is also an important parameter. First of all we shall try to quote a few of important aphorisms as given in various classical texts 1. If benefices are placed in the 8th house then it is considered very fortunate for a woman. 2. All auspicious yogas present in the horoscope of a woman will give good results to her husband. Merits and demerits should be examined from the 7th house. According to manteshwar in phaldeepika female having mahabhagya yoga in his horoscope will be blessed with akhand saibhagya.Even if all benefics occupy their sign of exaltation but if malefic occupy the 8th house aspected by evil planet, the female may suffer widowhood. If the navamsha occupied by the 8th lord is owned by a malefic then also there are chances of widowhood. Saubhagya yoga will be effective only if 9th house is occupied by Kendra lord and benefics. If the 9th house is weak or afflicted in a female horoscope she may not attain saubhagya. I am giving here two cases of lucky females to illustrate this point.

Case 26 In this case the marital life is happy and in fact they have progressed a lot financially and otherwise after marriage. In female horoscope we see benefices in her 8th house aspected by mars the lagna lord. 7th house lord is placed in Kendra and 8th lord mercury is placed in its own sign. In navamsha chart all the planets have shifted to 7th house which is an improvement. 10th lord placed in 9th house forms Raj Yoga. The couple is very happy and leads harmonious and prosperous married life. Case 49 In this case of happy marriage 8th house of female is very well placed and aspected. Mars is placed in her 8th house in its own sign aspected by Mercury the lagna lord from 2nd house. Her 9th house is being aspected by Venus & Jupiter both benefic. So benefic influences on 8th and 9th house make her marriage a happy marriage. Cordial conjugal life is an integral part of domestic life. To facilitate conjugal harmony, our sages have advocated observance of two cardinal principles. They are 1). Matching of horoscope of the prospective couple; 2). Performing the marriage in an auspicious Muhurta. In spite of complying with these requirements, marital discord may surface due to inherent blemishes in the horoscopes of the couple. Horoscope matching done in a traditional way is quite inadequate in the context of present day social trends. Women have become independent economically and also in their way of thinking. They have their own aspirations and ideologies. It is more logical to consider whether the life partners have the ability for mutual adjustments as revealed in their horoscopes. I present here Case studies of two failed marriages according to the parameters in our research class under the guidance of our respected Guruji Shri K.K. Joshi. In these spirit of classics was taken and modified to suit changed times. Bhav matching is also an important factor in horoscope matching. Case 42 This is the case of an arranged marriage, which took place on February 21, 1996. They moved to Singapore. Trouble started a few months after marriage. Differences were to such an extent that a son was born on August 9, 1998 but he could see his son for the first

time in June 1999. In December 2001 they filed for divorce. But she left her house in September 2004 and got a large share of his property and money. He had to pay huge penalty according to laws in Singapore. He married again in September 2007. Analyzing their horoscopes we note the following points. 1. In traditional matching points are 17.05 which is below average with no nadi dosh but Bhakoot dosha is there. So traditional points below average with Bhaskoot dosha indicates negatitivity in married life. 2. In Male horoscope 7th house is well aspected by Jupiter and its own lord Mercury but 2nd house is afflicted which is considered bad in male horoscope. Also Venus the karak for marriage though not afflicted in D-1 chart but it is badly afflicted in D-9 chart. The 7th house lord Mercury is also afflicted in D-9 chart being aspected by Saturn but also aspected by Jupiter which is a protecting factor. Also kendras in D-9 are occupied with malefic. So in totality individual analysis is not good. But there is protection by Jupiter both in Lagna as well as D-9 chart. 3. In female chart there is affliction to 7th house as well as 7th lord by Saturn. And in Rashi-Tulya navamsha (RTN) there is afflicttion by Mars to 7th house as well as karak Venus. Karak Venus is also afflicted in D-1 by Sun, Saturn and is in initial degrees of sign close to lagna degrees which makes it more vulnerable to affliction. So in female chart also there are afflictions which do not predict good married life. 4. Dashas also play a major part in life. In 2004 when their legal cases started male was running mahadasha of Saturn and we note that 7th house from Mahadasha is heavily afflicted. In female chart she was running Mahadasha of Rahu and we note that 7th house from Rahu is afflicted being on Rahu-Ketu axis and being aspected by Mars. In male chart Mars is placed in 8th house which gives manglik dosha. In female chart Mars is placed in 2nd house aspected by Jupiter which cancels this dosha. So there is no manglik dosha cancellation. In these charts there is no bhavmatching or similar house afflictions. So all these factors along with low point traditional matching failed this marriage. This person got married again on 25Th February 2007. Birth particulars of the female are - 12/7/1971, 119:30:00, Banglore. Their married life is happy since they got married. In traditional matching points are 27 which is quite good. There

is no nadi and Bhakoot Dosh. We have already analyzed male horoscope. Their moon axis is same which is also a plus point. if we analyze horoscope of this female we note that 7th house is afflicted in her horoscope and also karak venus is afflicted being in conjunction with sun but since in male horoscope lagna is well placed so this affliction gets neutralized according to parameter given by Shri joshi that if 7th house in a horoscope is afflicted and if in other's horoscope opposite house lagna is unafflicted and well placed then this neutralizes the afflictions and makes married life harmonious. In her horoscope though there are afflictions in natal chart. But the lord of 7th house house of natal chart moon is placed in Kendra in RTN and also karak Venus aspected by Jupiter dilutes afflictions of natal chart and this is a major improvement. So in totality we see her individual analysis, matching points and house matching make this marriage a success. Case 142 This marriage was arranged by the parents. Boy had a premarital affair and he married this girl under pressure from his father. They did not have any relationship after marriage and marriage consummated after 3 months. They got married on January 25, 2001 and a daughter was born to them on November 14, 2002. Their relationship was disturbed since beginning and it reached such a stage that the husband in a fit of anger dropped his wife from 2nd floor on July10, 2003. Nobody expected her to survive but God was kind to her and she was immediately hospitalized by the neighbors. If we analyse their horoscopes we note there are only 17 points in traditional matching and also nadi dosha is there. Individually if we analyze their horoscopes we note that 7th house in female horoscope is badly afflicted with all malefic malefic planets sun, rahu, mars and Saturn aspecting 7th house with ketu placed in it. karaka Venus is being aspected by Jupiter which reduces some malifecense but in RTN also 7th house is afflicted by sun. Also malefic are placed in kendreas in RTN. So her horoscope is badly afflicted from the marriage point of view. When she got married in 2001 she was running Mahadssha of Sun which is debilitated in natal as well as navamsha chart and also aspecting 7th house. 7th house from mahadasha lord is also afflicted being on rahu axis. With so many afflictions in her chart for her married life to be happy she should have been married to a male with benefic lagna but in male horoscope here lagna is afflicted. This magnifies the effect of

afflictions in marriage compatibility. Also in male horoscope there is conjunction of Venus, Saturn and moon with karak Venus afflicted by Saturn with close degrees. But Karak Venus is placed in Kendra in navamsha which improves significantly compared to natal chart. 7th lord Saturn is placed on rahu-ketu axis in navamsha and in RTN also 7th house is afflicted. In RTN malefics are placed in kendras. Though his horoscope also has afflictions but here afflictions are not as bad as in female horoscope. This is the reason that his 2nd marriage is a success but we do not have birth data of female. In totality we see that in this case a horoscope matching was bad considering traditional matching, the 7th house afflictions and with poor bhav matching. These were the factors which made this marriage a total failure.
