Back when we discovered this lock we called it the soda machine lock because the keyway resembled the lock on the door of our firehouse soda machine.

Today we refer to it as the Bolt Lock

Forcing the Fox Lock

Shear three bolts of cylinder guard, pivot plate to expose cylinder

Pull the cylinder

Insert Key Tool (5/32 square), push and turn toward lower carriage bolts

Forcing Roll Down with Bolt Lock

Options: Apply downward pressure and try to snap pin which connects to rotating cam

Using saw, cut lock body between curtain and rail

Do not complete cuts; leaving tabs will keep cut section hanging like a curtain. Remove tabs last and cut section will drop
