consultations, system of care coordination; and family,

emergencies/crises and are in need of stabilization. This 20
bed unit admits male and female adult patients (18 years of
age or older). The unit and is designed to provide for a brief

Crescent House offers empowerment counseling, a 24-
hour crisis line, comprehensive case management
services, and intervention services for children including
music, art, and play therapy to break the cycle of abuse. All
services at Crescent House are free of charge. Provides
non-residential services.
Provides legal representation mainly focused on getting
restraining orders.
Provides counseling for domestic violence, sexual assault
and stalking serving women, men, children, and caregivers.
Our available services include individual and group
counseling, medical advocacy, referrals, outreach, and
education. Emergency housing also provided.
RTA fixed-route buses are accessible to persons with
disabilities. Features such as kneeling capability, lifts,
wheelchair securement areas and priority seating areas
Discount Rates:
Senior Citizens - people 65 and over need an RTA senior
citizen ID which can be had by bringing proof of age and
picture ID to the RTA ID Center.
Disabled persons – submit one page application
supplemented with medical form by doctor or health care
professional to verify disability. Pick up applications at the
RTA Eligibility Department. Applications can also be
requested over the telephone.
curb-to-curb public transportation service for persons with
disabilities that prevent them from boarding, riding, or
disembarking from a fixed-route bus. W heel-chair lift
equipment on vehicles (vans or 4 door sedans). Driver can
help client into vehicle but cannot help them out of building
or into office. Because of this, client’s are allowed one
person who can ride free with them to help them in an out
of buildings. The charge is $1 per trip. The service is
shared ride, so the client will be riding with other clients. To
apply, contact RTA Eligibility Department. Application
requested via phone can be expected within 2 weeks.
Decisions regarding eligibility for the paratransit program
will be provided within 3 weeks of a complete application.
