Introduction
The adventure that tells us this Final Fantasy IX could well be described as a small-big story of fantasy created by the restless mind of the most prolific creators of stories. This fairy tale, medieval adventure, this "Odyssey" fantastic, this magical story that absorbs and traps us, making us spend hours in front of the monitor.

Graphics
The graphic level reached by the game is simply brilliant. 4 CDs in which is always surprising Square for a moment, with an amazing imagination that leaves behind a decorated worthy of the best fairy tale ever imagined characters of diverse cultures, which move with an ease and speed that never before seen in the series. The sets and locations are rendered with many fantastic colors that give the game a dream look magical, epic tale whose scenarios are from forests, to giant cities atop mountains, temples through dark, gloomy caves or dangerous volcanoes. The architecture is different in each kingdom, ranging from the medieval decorated Alexandria, to the grimy East mines, through the humid swamps of Qu, or the enigmatic tree Tifa, Treno classic style, the majesty of Linddlum, decorated the frozen Ice Cave, or the devastated Gizamaluke's Grotto (a kingdom forever in the rain). During battles have lost the magic bombast but have gained in beauty. If before each spell was characterized by the enormity of its lights and colors, we now spell effects smaller but much more beautiful, softer and more pleasing to the eye.

Music
The sweetness of his melodies as gloves adjusting to different situations and phases of the game, with different styles depending on what you are presenting, is something that few games are available to them.

The sound quality is the best I have seen in a while PSX, and especially surprising variety of styles that come together in song: circus music, chamber pieces, Spanish guitars, dark melodies played with pipe organs, music from medieval character, piano solos.

No shortage of Music! Typical classic Final Fantasy, as the accompanying fighting or sounding when we travel around the map. But if you change the sounds when we got on the back of a Chocobo, this time the tune is much more fun.

Gameplay
The gameplay has not changed anything. Follow equally well. Those who have played the last two titles in the series will not be surprised to find a game as long as the above. The traditional turn-based battles continue as they were, except for the exception of the inclusion of the trance state. A condition to accessing our characters after filling in a status bar which has been accumulating damage received by attacks, and thanks to which our attacks are more powerful, mages can double shift use their magic, etc. Apart from the story, the game has many parallels to this game, races and chases. Again appears a card game, as it did in FFVIII, but this time more sophisticated, complicated and difficult than the last, something that leads us to take calmly minigame.

Conclusion
Wars between realms, parallel worlds travel, sacred trees, kidnappings unexpected legions of dark wizards, magic mirrors, gems with powers of invocation, frantic escapes, colossal battles, unusual places ... and even theater!. A game that makes you be creative, and you can get lost among many magical worlds, and at the same time, in a great story...
