The troffer body shall be die'formed steel having

strengthening ribs. The ballast wiring channel shall be raised above the plane of the lamps to eliminate any semblance of a shadow on the lens. The wireway cover shall be hinged and latched and be so designed that access to the ballast can be gained without removing the lamps (2 larnp only). The door frame shall have mitered corners so arranged that no light leaks occur at the corners. It shall hinge from either side and shall be opened or closed without use of tools. The latch shall be positive acting to prevent accidental opening. The hinges shall be pin type hinges, nail head type. The gasketing must be so arranged that it will not be visibly apparent.

TRIM CONSTRUCTION:

Finish of surfaces shall be phosphate treated in a multistage operation lor corrosion resistance and paint adhesion. Final finish shall be baked white enamel.

MOUNTING: Flange type fixtures have integral support arms that are

adjustable from below. Grid fixtures are of the lay-in type. For plaster ceilings, flange type fixtures shall be used; plaster frames are available as an accessory,
