G. ENTRY CHARGES: Indian Candidate: The charge for an ISC FULL / SUPPLEMENTARY Certificate is 1,000/Foreign Candidate: The charge for an ISC FULL / SUPPLEMENTARY Certificate is 5,000/A late charge of 150/- will be applicable upto 15 days after the last date for submission of this form. The charges must be paid by a Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, payable at New Delhi and must be sent through the Principal of the School with this application form, to the Office of the Chief Executive & Secretary, Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, Pragati House, 3rd Floor, 47-48, Nehru Place, New Delhi - 110 505. H. NOTE FOR THE CANDIDATE: 1. This is an application for entry for the ISC 2013 Examination and should not be taken to imply that the entry will be accepted. If at any time it is detected that the name entered on the Application form is different from that entered by the Principal of the school on the Entry/Registration Form of the Indian School Certificate Examination or that the candidate has changed a subject or paper for which he/she was entered for the last Examination, his/her entry will be rejected for the ISC 2013 Examination. 2. The instructions in this form must be read carefully. Failure to comply with all the requirements may lead to the rejection of the candidates entry. 3. The Form along with the examination charges should be sent as soon as possible, so as to reach the office of the Council not later than September 15th, 2012. 4. The ISC Year 2013 Examination Regulations, Chapter 1, Section C-3, state that candidates entered as school candidates and who are not awarded Pass Certificates, will be permitted to re-appear for the Examination once only in the year following their failure, but not thereafter, without further attendance at a Council affiliated school. Hence only a candidate, who was entered as a School candidate and was not awarded Pass Certificate in the ISC Year 2012 Examination, is eligible to appear for the ISC Year 2013 Examination as a candidate not in attendance at School. Such a candidate shall enter only for those subjects, which he/she had offered in the ISC Year 2012 Examination. 5. A candidate who was awarded Pass Certificate is permitted to enter for a Supplementary Pass Certificate. Such a candidate can appear for any/all subject/s offered by him/her in the last ISC Examination taken by him/her (provided that the subject/s under consideration are still being offered for the examination in the year in which the candidate wishes to enter), without further attendance at a Council affiliated school OR after studying an additional subject(s) for two years. In such a case, the candidate will be required to complete and pass the Class XI portion of the prescribed syllabus, before he/she enters for the ISC (XII) Examination. A certification to this effect would need to be provided by the Principal of the School from where the candidate had appeared and passed the Class XI portion of the prescribed syllabus. 6. The candidate must ensure that the details of his/her entry are correct in all respects and must keep a record of it. No changes will be permitted after submission of this form. The candidate will not be allowed to take the Examination in any paper or subject for which he/she has not entered on this form. This form must be duly signed and attested by the Principal of the School. 7. For those subjects that have a THEORY and a PRACTICAL component, the candidate is required to appear in BOTH. 8. Given below are the prescribed textbooks for English Paper 2 for the ISC 2013 Examination. IMPORTANT NOTE: 1. The candidate must ascertain from the Centre where he/she is to sit for the ISC 2013 Examination, the amount to be paid by him/her as local charges, over and above the examination charges. 2. The Admission Card and other information regarding the examination will be sent to the Principal of the School where the candidates centre for the examination is located, by the first week of February 2013. The candidate may kindly get in touch with the Principal of the school concerned, to collect the Admission Card. 3. A copy of the Examination Timetable and the Admission Card will be available in February 2013. The candidate must keep in touch with the Principal of the School of his/her examination centre, so as to be sure of the date and time of the papers for which he/she has entered. 4. If the candidate wishes to withdraw from the Examination, the Council must be notified as soon as possible and in any case, prior to the commencement of the examination. The examination charges are not refundable for candidates who withdraw. 5. The Council must be informed in case the acknowledgement slip has not been received by you by 19th October 2012.
