Watersports enthusiasts are spoilt for choice with everything from kayaks to kite surfing or, for a quieter pace, try a relaxing massage at the Uzuri Spa.

Shimoni Reef Lodge

The Lodge is located on the remote Southern coast. The coral reef here is alive with color in better condition than most reefs anywhere in the world today. The six cottages in Shimoni Reef are white washed and thatch covered with a home feel inside. The balcony is perfect to sit and watch the Wasini channel as boats sail by whilst birds compete for the tropical fruits in the garden. from USD

Lamu

Peponi Hotel
Peponi Hotel is one of Lamus most famous and iconic hotels. First opened in 1967 it retains much of its original charm with only 24 rooms, all individually furnished. Long known as the place to stay when visiting Lamu, the hotel is right on the waters edge in Shela Village. Charming, colourful and eccentric, the hotel features whitewashed terraces, blazing bougainvillea, palms and plenty of activity in its bars and restaurants. There is a terrace overlooking the ocean and a freshwater swimming pool.
