At the suggestion of some of the people on this email, I have attached a pr= eliminary draft of a Wikipedia entry about Grandma. Jan has agreed to edit = it but I have to get a few questions answered before it's ready for editing= :

Aunt Shirley recalled that Grandma had attended "Normal College." As close = as I can tell, that was Illinois State Normal University (now Illinois Stat= e University) in Normal, Ill. I will try to find out this week if the

regis= trar has records going back that far and nail down when she attended and wh= ether she got any sort of degree or certificate. But if anyone can shed mor= e light on that, I would appreciate it.=A0

I also am writing Moody and Zondervan, asking for figures on total sales, t= ranslations and printings. But if anyone has those (or has a contact at eit= her publisher I should work with), I'd appreciate any help you might provid= e.

Some family questions I hope someone on this email can answer:

Where did Grandma and Grandpa get married?

When did Uncle Frank graduate from Northern?

Any suggested changes for the brief description of the lives/Christian serv= ice of the four children?

Were they always members of Judson? Or did they go to church somewhere else= (when they were in Wilmington or any of their moves around Chicago?

Does anyone know anything about a book (or short story or pamphlet?) named = Ellen Claudia? It shows up in Amazon as a paperback, but I have never heard= of it (can't find it in the Library of Congress or on Google, except the A= mazon listing, which doesn't include publisher, date or an image). I'm pret= ty sure it's a mistake (maybe the name of someone who was selling one of

he= r books on Amazon), but if anyone can shed some light, I'd be happy to add = it if it belongs.

I've uploaded the documents Aunt Shirley sent me (as well as emails from Au= nts Shirley and Florence) to Scribd so I could provide links for documentat= ion. There are a few items that just come from family knowledge that aren't= footnoted. If anyone has documentation for items that aren't footnoted (or= wants to provide documentation by recounting those facts in an email that = I can upload to Scribd), I'll provide further documentation, but I think it= 's pretty heavily documented.

And, of course, I'd welcome any feedback on the writing. Did I leave out an= ything important? Go on too long? Get any facts wrong?
