A RESOLUTION CONCERNING: THE AGE OF REQUIREMENT WHEREAS: All of the privileges associated with adulthood should be granted all at once to a person when they reach a certain age. It makes no sense to allow a person to be legally able to enlist in the military but are not legally able to purchase or consume alcohol. The establishing of an age of requirement would allow for less bureaucratic paperwork. Many successful countries implement a standard age of requirement. By allowing access to all the benefits of age at once we are showing respect to this large segment of the American population
