"Technologies impact on humans" - that is what we will base our project on.

Our main aim is to show an impact of technologies to humans in positive and negative ways. During the process of creating the idea, there were a lot of inspirations but the main spark was personal experience. As a group we were able to relate to the topic and be able to tell our personal experiences with the use of technologies and social medias. Nowadays technologies provide a variety of equipments that help people to manage their routines, one of them is the opportunity to communicate. Technologies give us the ability to access people from all around the world. It helps us to preserve the relationships between families and friends, as it gives the idea that distance has now grown closer even though in reality were further apart. As a result, virtual communication saves our time; instead of arranging a meeting we can give a call. These abilities reduce our desire to see people in reality. Today everyone relies on digital technologies to make their projects more qualitatively. Work that is presented using slides or film makes it clearer and attractive for the audience. Technologies help produce better results as theyre programmed to address the mistakes we make, which in turn allows us to manipulate our works and produce worthy outcomes. The majority of us have access to the Internet anytime and anywhere, which suggests that everyone is grown towards digital technology and we have adapted to this lifestyle to a developing digital world. This accessibility of the Internet gives us an opportunity to read up-dated news, contact friends, listen to music, etc. Today everything is in our mobile phones; we dont need to look for todays newspapers or send a letter. Technological mediums have made us completely depended on Internet. Alternatively, technologies have affected us more negatively. Reality is lost, as we prefer the virtual life. Two personalities are created: virtual and real. The virtual personality allows us to create and see ourselves in a different perspective. For instance, the Internet is used as a tool to create a false identity of ourselves, we are able to say what we want and be whom we want. This virtually makes us stronger, only behind the barrier of the Internet, as we no longer know the difference between reality and virtual life. In real time, our personality is completely different; were lazy and unsociable as technologies do most tasks for us and allow us to easily communicate with family and friends. For example, when making friends you are unable to cover up your weaknesses, correct your appearance, or undo mistakes said. You have no other choice, but to introduce your real personality. As the group can relate to the ideas of the project, the target audience was established easily, young adults, specifically to the ages of 18 24 years old, being both male and female, for those whos lives evolve around their technologies and forms of communication.

Our timeline will be divided in three parts: real, virtual and the future lifestyle. Virtual and real lives will be in a same timeline, but we will be the most focused on real time as our aim to show what is going on in reality while we are engrossed in virtual-life. Our future will be based on TV series Revolution", where it shows all electricity shutting down and never turning back on, causing people to live in pre-electrical style, no phones, internet, etc. The resources needed for this project are basic and minimal. The main piece of equipment needed to create the groups stop motion project is the Mac computer; this holds the program of Premier Pro to create the motion sequence, while also allowing access to Blogger to record our works and progress. Other equipment needed to produce the project is a digital camera to take images in a stop motion style and a tri-pod would be used to make the shots look better. Also, all the props, costumes and mise-en-scene will be essential for the project as these assets will make the stop motion video and help towards telling the narrative. The animation will start in a room, where a person will be searching on a computer. The computer will be a symbol of new technologies that affect us. The person will show the impacts of technologies through the fight between real, virtual and future life, via the opening of doors and windows. Pre-production will consist of research and planning, which involves location and prop research, story boarding and creating a schedule to follow. Also, we will be experimenting with a variety of equipment and software to see what is suitable and convenient for us to work with throughout the rest of the project. During the production stages well dedicate out time to the filming of our sequence. Then, in post-production well focus on editing the animation, hoping to be finished by project week 9. Throughout the stages of the project, we will be editing and manipulating the animation to increase the quality in order to form the perfect final view. Overall, the project "Technologies impact on humans" will make us to think about our lifestyles and how to change them in order to avoid a disastrous future.
