Should you take the CLEP Precalculus exam? Students who can make 90s or
better on most Saxon tests are encouraged to take a CLEP Precalculus exam, and receive college credit for the course. Thousands of colleges accept CLEP credits, but even if the college you attend does not accept them, passing a CLEP exam will show the college you plan to attend that you are capable of college-level work. You can use CLEP Professor Precalculus (free on your DIVE Advanced Math CD) to prepare for the CLEP exam. DO NOT attempt the CLEP Precalculus exam until you have fully completed Saxon Advanced Math.
