A Man with great pride

Martin Luther king jr. was a great man he loved anyone and everyone. What he didnt like is how colored people werent allowed to do the thing Caucasians did. He was one of the first African American to finish off the civil rights movement. Dr. king also believed that the constitution, guarantee of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all Americans. He believed that all children of color would come together and enjoy each other, instead of leaving each other out and sing. My country tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my father died, land of the pilgrims pride from every mountain, let freedom ring. Dr. martin Luther king had created a boycott to stop segregation between two races. All he wanted was for little black boys and girls and little while boys and girls to join hands and acted like if they were brothers and sisters, because we are all equal. He wanted this nation to open doors and allow everyone in, not by their color but by the way they acted. Dr. king said, When will you be satisfied? What he basically trying to say is nobody will be satisfied unless we change on how we feel about skin color and discriminating. ARE WE REALLY SATIFIED. With not letting African American ride in front of the bus or allowed them in certain restaurant. On April 4, 1968 Dr. king was assassinated for standing up colored people. When he had I have a dream speech, some people were mad because they were not happy about the way he felt about things that happen to him and his people. He had the right to speak about how he felt because it was and is our right; freedom of speech. But African Americans didnt have any right according to the Caucasians, because they were worthless, of color, and unintelligent. Around the 1980s is when things got a little better for African American.

Because Caucasians realized how wrong it was to discriminate and people started to join hands and acted if they were brother and sister, like Dr. king wanted for everyone. In my conclusion Dr. king should be remember for his speech, loyalty, and his bravery because if it was for him African American would still be segregated by Caucasians who didnt like African Americans.
