Education is the manifestation of knowledge already in man-Vivekananda.

Education has the power to redefine the universe and our existence. So, when it can do such remarkable things, I dont see why it cant solve the problems our world faces today. Every morning, I wake up and sway my eyes over the newspaper, I think. Not with despair but with a sense of responsibility. I think deeply about the issues, in an attempt to find solutions and manage to write down few of the ideas that strike my mind at that moment. Our world is going through hard times. Everyday common man is forced to be a victim of one or the other evil, from poverty to politics, corruption to recession, communal disharmony to man-made hegemony. I know utopia is far-fetched and goes against the nature. Striking a balance in the nature is the need of the hour. Every person assumes a role bestowed upon him by nature. There is no HERO without a VILLAIN but the imbalance could lead to civilization collapse. Each being on this earth is born omniscient. As they grow up they get sucked into the system and find refuge in it, they dont dare to question their existence. The child should be allowed to ask questions and motivated enough, to find answers on its own. It should be encouraged to think. The curiosity in the child should be taken to a higher level. Proper education can do this. Education in the current scenario is seen as a profiteering sector. There is no dearth of educational institutions but of the quality in them. If the current system perpetuates, well all be witnessed to total anarchy in the world. We have a class based education system, which deprives the talented child of its opportunity. This discrimination cant go on for long. It has to be ended and I have donned the responsibility of fighting against this injustice and plan for a better tomorrow, where everyone can share the natural resources efficiently and live a life of dignity and honor. Hence, I want to work in the education sector and bring about a change. Fellowship programme helps me in doing it. I can meet like-minded people, share my ideas with them, work as a team, co-operate, learn, teach the future citizens and feel satisfied. It gives me an opportunity to learn, which I yearned for. I strongly believe that this two year programme can take me a long way in the days to come. I can understand the present system in very less time and think about the changes to be done, to improve the pedagogy. Unlike the other education focused organizations, which encourage rote learning and marks based assessment, here I can innovate and come up with methods which boosts the creativity in children.
