soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation (Rom. 13:1-2).
We would do well to remember that at the time this was written Rome ruled her people with a pagan emperor and tortured and murdered Christians without cause.

America isnt the place it used to be, but we believe God is in control of that. We take opportunity to exercise our democratic liberty, but we do it without sinning against God by praying for our leaders and blessing them. If this seems hard to do, remember that (1) God is sovereign and (2) America isnt the Promised Land. We have a better hope and God will give it!

In the Greek I John 5:7 is a great verse which shows us the plurality of God There are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit. The Greek word for three is treis and it means just that: three.

Arianism is an ancient heresy named after Arius, who thought it did not seem fitting that God should have a son. His solution was to propose that Jesus was somewhere between God and man and not equal to the Father. Modern forms of Arianism reduce Jesus in the same way claiming He was only a teacher, a prophet, or some kind of lesser God.
