1.0 INTRODUCTION I am running this interview for the job requirements 3 FIK 3042-English For Communication 2. Interviews that I do is interview with a prominent Excellence Head Master. I chose this character because he is a charismatic and competent in accordance with the Award of Excellence Head Master was awarded to him. I made the interview to find out his background, career, mission and vision, experiences and challenges encountered during the designated teacher, performance achieved, as well as his contributions to the community or the expectations of his advice to young teachers in particular. I have been running this interview on 06.06.2011 by individuals. I have been working hard to complete this task. I use data and information gathered to prepare a full report complete with interviews as soon as possible. 2.0 BIOGRAPHY OF INTERVIEWEE His name is Haji Hatta Bin Mohamad. He comes from Tawau, Sabah. He was born on March 1, 1955. Now he is 56 years old. Tn. Haji Hatta Bin Mohamad ethnic Bugis, and Muslims. He started primary school in 1963 at the Sekolah Kebangsaan Bandar Tawau and secondary schooling at Sekolah Menengah Holy Trinity, Tawau in 1970 to 1975. He went on to pursue their education at Teachers College Gaya Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in 1977 to 1978. After graduation, he began teaching in primary schools in Jan 1979. He has been teaching for 32 years in primary school, and now a Head Master at the Sekolah Kebangsaan Pasir Putih, Tawau, Sabah. In addition, he has been married to Mrs. Norlaila Binti Salleh and had children that is 3 females and 3 males. His wife also was a teacher. Two of the daughters of Henni Nor N and Hennita Nor J had completed undergraduate studies. Son, Mohd Haniff Nor is the ICT diploma, Haffiz Mohd Nor is studying at Polytechnic Kota Kinabalu. Two other children his secondary schooling at SMK. Tawau is Zhulia Nor and Mohd Zhahir Nor. He was happy with his life now. He is also a teacher, a husband and father who is very caring, loving, honest and kind. He is a responsible, assertive, and can be taken to discuss a friendly.

3.0 CAREER He chose this profession because he was very interested to teach children. Not only that, he was also very fond of children because her children have a funny character, happy, a variety of modes, neglected and abilities. Children are blessed with a gem of Allah on this earth. In addition. Tn Haji Hatta Bin Mohamad, said he chose this profession because of children like the whites. People who will shape them into black, blue or colorful is that we, their parents and their teachers. So we as teachers should be brilliant and creative teacher to shape them into useful human. With this in mind, think it is right that we as leaders and educators to give more serious attention to the way we provide non-formal education early childhood level. We as teachers to educate these children become responsible future leaders and others in the future. Being a teacher is a noble job because we provide the knowledge and educate them to become useful people. He said that the task is not only a teacher to teach the curriculum, but is responsible for guiding the students with good values either in class or outside class. Produce students who have positive values of life in line with the National Philosophy of Education. Teachers should also be a motivator and advisor to the learning of pupils. Teachers should prepare students to achieve goals and objectives desired. Encouragement and incentives should be provided in accordance with the level of student ability. Teachers must find approaches that can help students develop their potential. The activities planned by teachers should enable pupils to achieve success according to their abilities and their capabilities. In learning to motivate students, to the creative nature of a teacher is in it. 4.0 EXPERIENCE AS A TEACHER The experience he went through while he is a very challenging teacher behavior than students who are different modes, neglected, and different characters. Therefore, as a teacher, should be a lot of patience with different attitude. This is because the development of a pupils is dependent on how teachers teach. All that is heard and experienced is stored in the memory. So, to provide the best possible knowledge, students should be provided with an interesting learning experience. Experiences through which they also take them to the brain and their potential to the maximum extent that is. Good experiences will give a good impression on the students. Encouragement and positive stimuli are necessary to help them achieve the desired level of development. Currently, we can build towards the direction they expected. He said that the delivery of knowledge not just to convey knowledge go as they please, but involves

the mastery of certain techniques that enable the knowledge presented can be understood and appreciated by the pupils.

5.0 CHALLENGES EXPERIENCED The main challenge is to carry out the duties of a teacher with the same dedication in the classroom or in school. This includes coming to school on time, in class, out of class and came home from school. Each teacher has their own teaching schedule. Because the teacher was employed for one thing it is not fair if no teacher who intentionally failed to discharge that responsibility. A teacher must also undertake teaching and learning methods and techniques. Challenges faced by the time he became a teacher familiar with the challenges of being a great teacher is different. During his regular teacher, the challenge is more focused on issues neglected by many students. But when a head master is more focused challenge to the teachers under his administration. Not only that, parents and guardians of pupils also have a variety of neglected and the modes. There is cooperation and there is also indifferent to the vision and mission to be achieved by developing and realizing his hopes to be a high performing school later in the year 2015. He said some parents think their job is to raise their children, while schools are where they gain knowledge. Such opinion is no longer relevant for use in the present, because the role of teachers as facilitators only in providing knowledge to students. The next task of the disciples at home to be monitored by their parents. Therefore, teachers should learn how to work with parents to nurture and teach them. Teachers should not continue to penalize students if they have not managed to reach the level expected by the teacher. He hoped that such cases are not done by the teachers under its purview. For him, learning is a combination of support and socialization at home and at school the next. Need to establish continuity between the two teachers, namely at home and at school. He said, parents as first educators and play a key role in highlighting the mental and emotional growth of children. Teachers' knowledge about child growth could affect the development of colleagues and relationships with parents. Teachers should communicate clearly the characteristics of students to enhance their knowledge of parents about their children, not just keep quiet and just do not know. In addition, to broaden the experience and knowledge, teachers should be more willing to expose himself to the opinions or views that can be obtained from various sources. We as teachers may not be as empty cans, a lot of talk

and comment, but empty of knowledge in the chest and can not do the work as directed. Move the rhythm needed for school achievement can be improved. Therefore, teachers need to carry out the tasks to be properly directed. Duties of teachers are not just teaching only, but more than that. Teachers also need to carry out basic tasks such as determining parental comfort them. The environment in the classroom to meet the physical and emotional needs of pupils should be created. Tn. Haji Mohamad Hatta said, teachers should always indicate the nature of love, the behavior of a gentle, cheerful, active, sweet face and use an appropriate tone of voice when speaking. Not only that, teachers need to role model to students so that students can follow and mimic our behavior is good and proper. He also hopes that teachers who do not take heed regarding their students for change, and together shall develop and promote excellence in education for children of our nation. Teachers play a vital role in educating students to shape the development and the aspiration towards the expected. 6.0 ACHIEVEMENTS / CONTRIBUTIONS TO COMMUNITY He told that to be an excellent teacher should read many books and find new information on education. Among the books are widely read book relating to child psychology, because the students have a variety of different attitude. In addition, a teacher must have an open mind. This is because a teacher is confronted with the attitude of the pupils and their parents. Openminded teacher who will enhance the academic performance of students as they become an idol selection of students. In Islam, open-minded attitude and culture has long practiced. In addition, open-minded teacher who is always ready to accept any weaknesses and deficiencies that are owned by their students. Any difficulties and hardships can be handled properly because of this openness. Humility and realize that there is no perfect man will help each teacher to receive the views of others, even those who give it a lower position or younger. To hold fast to the Philosophy of Education, eventually he was honored with many awards during his service in the field of education. Among the achievements of his Certificate of Merit is to increase the quality of rugby (1987), Certificate of Appreciation from the Department of National Unity (1991), Certificate of Appreciation from the EC (1995, 1999), the Ministry of Education Outstanding Service Award (1999), Head Master Award of the year (2007), Professor of Distinction DGA38 (2007) and the Excellent Service Award (2009). While the contribution / dedication that he had shed them to the community is a life member of the Foundation Teacher Malaysia, permanent member of the Teachers'

7.0 HOPES/ADVICE TO THE YOUNGER GENERATION AND TEACHERS Before the interview ended, he had explained to the younger generation, especially for teachers to never give up and continue to work hard, not easy to give in and confident with our self. He also reminded the young people and teachers to always seize the opportunities that exist, particularly in the education field. Go attend a course, the motivation to improve work quality and morale. Be a man / person / teacher caring, keep abreast of current and competent, high-minded, have strong religious beliefs. Because the power of faith is very important in guiding us towards goodness. He said, teachers will use effective strategies, techniques and materials to stimulate their students to take advantage of existing experience and use it to accelerate the learning process. In accordance with the expectations and roles, the would-be teachers and existing teachers should be constantly renewed enthusiasm and commitment at all times, even more so at this time because the more challenging tasks as a teacher. He also reminded the young people and teachers to always seize the opportunities that exist, particularly in the education field. Go attend a course, the motivation to improve work quality and morale. Be a man / person / teacher caring, keep abreast of current and competent, high-minded, have strong religious beliefs. Because the power of faith is very important in guiding us towards goodness. Therefore, every would-be teachers and teachers must be wise to integrate the values of faith and knowledge to shape the moral character of society in developing the identity of this country. Teachers should constantly motivate yourself and reevaluate his own career from time to time on an ongoing basis to remain dedicated, committed and responsible in carrying out their duties are in good condition. He also advised that teachers should work with honesty, trust, sincerity and patience is always practice integrity in life. The role of the teacher to the students to be modified from the first post of the present day. Teachers should be taught through a structured learning process.Always think positive in all actions. Not to damage the good values in either the act or acts which may violate the rules and ethics of teachers and civil servants. He also hopes that we do not like to postpone the work to practice more so if

the job is important. Each prospective teachers and teachers who are currently have an open mind and foresight in carrying out the responsibilities entrusted to it. When we uphold the responsibilities entrusted to us, the ambition to develop a community of this country to be excellent would be realized. Finally, he invites us all to give thanks to all of us have been to or have and always prayed to God for all our business simplified and we will always be in protection.

8.0 CONCLUSION Through experience interviewing Mr. Haji Mohamad Hatta a Professor of Distinction, I feel more dedicated in carrying out my duties and responsibilities as a teacher at the school. True and sincere faith is important, for all that we do everything is for Allah, not just the mere pursuit of material wealth. The performance itself should also be renewed for the quality of teaching has to be ranked better than the day to day. Apart from that, I as a teacher plays a vital role in bringing about changes in the education system in line with current developments and the need to establish in accordance with the development of students' personality and needs of the community. Teachers should be dynamic and constantly move and allow education to thrive. Teachers must assume responsibility as agents of change and dissemination of knowledge to bring development and progress of schools and communities. Teachers should carry out the challenges in changing the education system to produce a generation of excellence. Education in Malaysia is an ongoing effort towards further developing the potential of individual students as a whole and integrated to create a balanced and harmonious human beings are intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and physically based on the belief in and devotion to Allah. This effort is to produce people who are knowledgeable, competent, moral, responsible and capable of achieving well-being and contribute to the betterment of society and the nation. In addition to performing the duties of teaching, duties as directed by higher authority should also be implemented as soon as possible. like they say "we do not fight the current. " Teachers need to co-working with the school administration in advance. All teachers should be committed to and implementing all plans that have been made. For teachers who have long served, it is necessary for motivation, the spirit of teaching will not fade. Excellent teachers is that when given a task, then he will do so with full commitment and responsibility. Teachers are responsible to carry out all tasks entrusted to the dedication and will strive to ensure that the aims and objectives of the work accomplished with

excellence. To realize the enormity of the responsibility of guiding students in full progress, teachers should be more willing to complete this profession to be more sensitive and open for the formation of a distinguished citizen. In addition to what I understand, whether interested or have all the teachers should understand and follow all the terms of reference for those the talk wage earners blind. I repeat once again that all the teachers have to put it, hold on or correct the intent of carrying out the task. It would be nice if a teacher has the intention to carry out tasks for the sake of Allah and to discharge all its responsibilities and duties in accordance with established regulations. Teachers should strive continuously to improve knowledge and skills in accordance with the demands of the times to meet the true roles as a teacher in the maximum possible. Teachers also need to be willing to sacrifice that might be able to se the running tasks related to the pupils, schools and education. In addition to teaching duties, teachers also need to create good relationships with their students. The existence of good relationships between teachers and pupils may be relevant factor in the effectiveness of teaching and learning. Educators likely be more flexible and diversified types of relationships with their students as friends, as students, as parents, as facilitator, and so forth. Relationship between teacher and students with problems certainly affect the interest of students on taught. In addition to the relationship of teachers and students, relationships with parents also need to be established. From these interviews, a good teacher, responsible and dedicated to the task should have a good relationship with their parents for the students can exchange information and share ideas for guiding students toward academic excellence. Fellow teachers let the best man was the architect for our citizens and to produce the best human capital, in order to excel in accordance with the aspirations of our country's vision 2020.
