Noach 2012
After celebrating the Fall Feasts, we find ourselves launched onto a new exciting journey in the Torah cycle! Each year, the same passages reveal revelations not seen the previous year for those that are willing to work the ground. As we delve into Bereshith, the book of beginnings, its important to recall Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done. These portions become key puzzle pieces that enable us to properly understand prophecy and the course thats been charted for mankind in the latter days! The significance of this weeks portion is especially seen as it covers the life of Noah. In Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. It is interesting to note that the Torah portion of Noah falls during the opening of the Hebrew month of Cheshvan ,the 8th month on the calendar, it also happens to be during this month of Cheshvan that the flood began. Cheshvan is spelled with the same letters that form the term nachash serpent with the addition of the letter vav to be connected, linked with. Nachash has a gematria of 358, same as Mashiyach Could it be that this month determines whether we are connected with the nachash/serpent or whether we are connected with the Mashiyach/Messiah? *The constellational sign of this month is Scorpio, the scorpion. In Hebrew its akrav 2 interesting roots can be found within it 1) #6119 aqeb heel (Gen. 3:15 it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.) 2) #6135 aqar barren, to be childless, the state of not being fertile, not being able to become pregnant Its during this month that were warned we will face the heel biter! His intent is to make the Bride the barren one, unfertile (after all shes just returned from the Feast of Sukkot where she has been in the Sukkah/wedding chamber with her Husband) and now he comes to steal the seed! Noah is intricately connected with the month of Cheshvan, and the days of Noah are the pattern for the end days, so it would behoove us to understand these connections! This statement, days of Noah, is found in Genesis 9:29 And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died. 950 = Strongs #4330 miyts squeezing, pressing, wringing & #5395 nasham to breath, to pant, used to describe the deep breathing of a woman in labor the days of Noah and the days of the coming of the Son of man are days of squeezing, pressing, wringing, in order for something to be birthed out of this labor!

*Breaking apart the term nasham = life, seed, from the root meaning to sprout or increase, yet its also related to another root which means to waste away or degenerate; = Shem, name; whether we are one that receives life and sprouts/increases or whether we become one who wastes away at this upcoming time of pressing when we deal with the heel biter will be determined by our relationship with the name/Shem! *The Hebrew term shem/name is intricately connected to the term shamayim heaven, sky; gematria of shem = 340, same as caphar (#5608) to count, recount, tell, rehearse used in Gen.15:5 where Abraham is told to count/caphar the stars, literally to read the message in the heavens/shamayim. Could it be then that our ability to birth in the days ahead is hinging upon our ability as well to read the heavens? To understand the messages being relayed? What is being birthed in this time of pressing? The sages teach that Benjamin was born during the month of Cheshvan! Benjamin: Strongs #1144 Binyamiyn son of the right hand Benjamin: Strongs #1144 Binyamiyn son of the right hand Gematria = 162, the same as the number of letters found in the 2nd Commandment! Exodus 20:4-6 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I Yahweh thy Elohim am a jealous Elohim, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me: and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments *Bow: Strongs #7812 shachah to bow down; same word is used to describe how Jacob and his entire house bow to Esau in Genesis 33, all but Benjamin, whos not born yet! Benjamin represents the company of believers at the end who will not bow their knee either but keep the commandments of Yahweh those who will not be found compromised in idolatry or succumb to the serpent/heel biter, and this is who is meant to be birthed/immerge in the days ahead! Part of the reason this group will not bow before the serpent has to do with understanding/discerning the message in the heavens, which exposes the serpent who attempts to steal the seed/Word! To understand this better, we must look closer into the life of Noah, who as well did not bow! Noah is first mentioned in Genesis 5:29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands because of the ground which Yahweh hath cursed. Noah: Strongs #5146 Noach rest; from #5117 nuwach resting place, to rest, to sit down, to set oneself down, the original idea lies in respiring, 2

drawing breath *This same root is used in Numbers 10:36 And when it rested/nuwach, he said, Return O Yahweh, unto the many thousands of Israel. Return: Strongs #7725 shuwb to return, turn back, to restore, refresh, repair; here its spelled as shuvah sharing the same 3 letter root as #7617 shabah to take captive Noah was to be the ark, the resting place for the Glory of Yahweh in the earth (gematria of Noah = 58, same as Kavod Yahweh/Glory of Yahweh) and he was charged with the calling forth for the return of Yahweh to the captives in order to restore, refresh, and repair them! Comfort: Strongs #5162 nacham to be sorry, console oneself, repent, regret, comfort, be comforted; to draw the breath, to pant, to groan (much like the term nasham to breath, to pant, the breathing of a woman in labor); how would Noah comfort them? * = seed, life; = fenced off, wall; & = womb He would comfort them by causing the seed/Word that had been fenced off from the womb of creation to be made available again! Yet there is also a warning found here: = seed & = cham/hot, heat, to inflame oneself with carnal passions 2 seeds/words much like the 2 trees in the Garden of Eden! But only one would comfort the people causing them to be restored, repaired (healing for the nations)! He would comfort them concerning the work and toil, this phrase in the Hebrew is: mimaasenu umeitstsebon gematria = 770, same as etsim trees Noah was charged with teaching the difference between the etsim, the 2 trees - offering/showing the ets chayim/tree of life! ets ( )tree & yam sea Noah was to show the ets/tree that would pass through the sea/water/flood and by doing so cause something to be birthed in the earth! Exodus 15:23-25 The flood is the same shadow picture of the bitter waters of Marah here as well as Numbers 5, waters which would cause the belly and thigh of the adulterous wife to swell and rot, yet if there was a stick thrown in, the waters could be made sweet! *Remember that the days of Noah have something to do with the name of Yahweh being restored! Shem = to change & = water; it has the ability to change the water if we will lift up His name! Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of Yahweh our Elohim. This points us towards Exodus 14:23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaohs horses, his chariots, and his 3

horsemen. The horses and the chariots were unable to save them from the bitter waters, it was only by the power of Yahweh! Remember: Strongs #2142 zakar to remember, to recall, call to mind; = to covenant & = lamb; by remembering His name it marks us as one who is in covenant with the lamb and it was the lamb/Messiah that drank the cup of bitter waters for us! Remember this is revealing to us some key information concerning the days ahead, its the understanding of the name of Yahweh that will enable His people as well to find passage across the bitter waters/time of the birthing/Jacobs trouble! Tying this back in with Noah, he was instructed to build an ark of gopher wood (the tree that would make the waters sweet). Gopher: Strongs #1613 gopher cypress, gopher wood; gematria = 283, same value as #2146 zikrown memorial, reminder, remembrance; from the root #2142 zakar, to remember, to recall, call to mind! He was charged with declaring the name of Yahweh, marking it, remembering it, causing a memorial to stand in the earth of it. Ark: Strongs #8392 tebah ark *Its interesting to note that some view the entire zodiac as a picture of the ark of Noah with the various animals seen throughout the constellations and the term shamayim itself containing the root mayim = water! Gematria = 407, same as #226 owth sign, signal, standard, proof, token, distinguishing mark & the phrase vaEt = - connector & = Messiah Could it be that those upon the ark/tebah understood the signs in the heavens and because of that they were connected to the ET/Messiah and were saved from the bitter waters, understanding that He as the lamb would drink on their behalf? And could this be why for those waiting upon His return (in days likened unto the days of Noah) were told to lift up our heads as well (Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.) lift up your heads in order to read the signs that give understanding so that we wouldnt be found joined to the nachash/serpent!

After the Flood

Not only are the days of Noah leading up and during the flood, which so much focus is placed upon, but Noah lives for 350 years after the flood as well! 350 = Strongs #6083 aphar dust, ashes (In Gen. 2:7 Adam is created from the dust/aphar, yet part of the curse is to return to the dust/aphar and it

is the serpent that consumes the dust/aphar; so man in this state becomes vulnerable to the serpent). What does this have to do with Noah? Genesis 9:20 And Noah began [to be] an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: Began: Strongs #2490 chalal to profane, defile, pollute, desecrate, to begin, to violate a covenant Husbandman: Strongs #376 & #127 iysh man; contains the root esh fire, light & adamah ground, land; from #119 adam to be red; contains the root dam blood *Could it be that Noah, just like Adam, had begun to violate the covenant? To desecrate, defile, and pollute his (blood) covering causing him to lose the light/fire and be as ashes/aphar, susceptible to the akrav/scorpion or serpent! Vineyard: Strongs #3754 kerem vineyard; gematria = 260, same as #5216 niyr lamp & #5214 niyr to break up, freshly plough, till He should have been ploughing/tilling the ground that would bring forth the light/lamp of Yahweh, yet by violating the covenant the direct opposite has happened, the light has been put out! *Vineyard/kerem is spelled with the same letters as #3649 kamar idolatrous priest; from the root meaning to yearn, be kindled, be or grow hot, emotionally agitated Noah was supposed to be functioning as the High Priest upon the earth, yet somewhere along the way, upon exiting the ark, he begins to function more along the lines of an idolatrous priest! Going back to the prophecy of his name he would comfort nacham the seed ( )of cham/heat, to be inflamed with passion ( ;)instead of performing the role of the High Priest, teaching his house concerning the Tree of Life/Torah, hes instead tilling/spreading the seed of the wrong tree he allows the message to be compromised! The results are that Noah is found uncovered and his nakedness exposed within his tent just like Adam! But once again, just like Adam, the pattern repeats itself Noah is given a covering, a garment is brought by Japheth and Shem. Garment: Strongs #8071 simlah wrapper, mantle, covering garment; a change of garments could indicate a change of status, a new beginning Shem: Strongs #8035 shem shamayim, the heavens

name, but remember the connection to

Japheth: Strongs #3315 Yepheth

opened

*He receives a garment/a covering that affords him a new beginning when the message of the heavens is opened up/revealed again hes reminded of the redemption plan! The same pattern is set for the Bride in these end days, the Word of Yahweh is being opened/revealed in order to garment her and if she will trust in His name then a righteous remnant will be birthed in the midst of the flood!
