The fundamental principles to be successful with people in an organization are:

Evoking: The fullest potential out of each member in the organization; not only persuade them but also educate, train them. Interacting: Through a high degree of intelligence, relate both internal and external forces and chart out harmonious path for the people to tread. Integrating: The knowledge and experiences of organization are integrated with the vision of the organization and projected it as a cause to be identified with, by all the members of the organization. Emerging: New values of the organization are integrated with the vision of the organization and projected it as a cause to be identified with, by all the members of the organization. W. Edward Deming said that majority of problems in an organization are with systems, not people. But people create systems. If people are scripted in competitive, scarcity mentality, independent, chromos- only paradigms, the results in organizations and society will reflect it.

As human beings, we have unique endowments that distinguish us from the animal world. These endowments reside in the space between the Stimulus and Response, between those things that happen to us and our response to them. These endowments that reside in this space are:

N
Self Awareness Conscience Independent will Creative Imagination

Self Awareness/ Knowledge: Is our capacity to stand apart from ourselves and examine our thinking, our motives, our history, our scripts, our actions, our habits and tendencies. Conscience: connects us with the wisdom of the ages and wisdom of the heart. Its our internal guidance to sense when we act or even contemplate acting in a way thats contrary to our principle. It also gives a sense of our unique gifts and missions Independent will: Is our capacity to act. It gives us the power to transcend our paradigms, to swim upstream, to rewrite our scripts, to act based on our principle rather than reacting based on emotions or circumstances. We have will power to act on self awareness, conscience and vision, we are not victims of environmental or genetic influences which may be powerful but they do not control us. Creative Imagination: Is the power to envision a future state, to create something in your mind and to solve problems synergistically. Its the endowment that enables us to see ourselves and others differently and better than now. It enables us to write a personal mission statement, set goals. It empowers us to visualize ourselves living our mission statement even the most challenging circumstances and to apply principles in effective ways in new situations.

Trust worthiness

The interdependent paradigm No Man is Island Vital to quality of life is the ability to work together, learn from each other and help each other grow. Our greatest joy and greatest pain- comes in our relationship with others.

The fact is that quality of life is, by nature, interdependent. Our roles are interdependent- we are husbands, wives, parents, friends, bosses, associates, community members, citizens. Our accomplishments are interdependent. By interacting with people and trusting them the HR manager through empowerment can help in aligning the personal goals and mission with that of the organization i.e. Goal Congruence/ Integration. From here it leads to Emerging where in new values(spirituality) are integrated with the vision of the organization and projected it as a cause to be identified with, by all the members of the organization.
