OUTREACH PROJECT PROPOSAL

TITLE: DEVELOPMENTAL STRUCTURED LEARNING EXERCISES AND CAPACITYBUILDING ACTIVITIES FOR THE CLIENTS OF THE CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES PHILIPPINES, INCORPORATION. A. Brief Description and/or Rationale of the Outreach Activity/Service: The Outreach project shall be composed of three training seminars on personality development, team-building and leadership, and youth capabilities on social transformation and development. The sequence must be strictly followed as it is based on developmental steps from selfrealization and development as a preparation for team-building that will harness leadership capabilities to the over-all goal of including the client system or target group for social transformation and development. The Clients of the Child and Family Services Philippines, Incorporated (CFSPI) Baguio City are focused on Children at Risk (CAR) and Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL) in which the said clients are in need of rehabilitation, re-orientation, psychosocial enhancement, and socioeconomic development under the principles of restorative justice thus the Prime Mover Society as a student representative organization of the Department of Social Work of Saint Louis University aims to help the aforementioned agency in its holistic goals for the over-all development of its clients as consistent with the curriculum of Social Work in which the activities to be undertaken are to be derived/based from the following subjects: A. B. C. D. E. F. G. H. I. Social Work 11A- Child Psychology; Social Work 11B- Adolescent Psychology; Social Work 5-Group Processes and Group Dynamics; Social Work 6- Social Group Work; Social Work 7- Social Work and the Law; Social Work 18- Welfare Policies and Programs; Social Work 21- Guidance and Counseling; Social Work 8- Deviations of Human Behavior; and Social Work 20- Andragogy/Non-formal Education

We seek to contribute to the agency the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values that were developed and enhanced through the learning and training on these subjects as a form of social responsibility, public service, participatory action research, and learning experience that would help both the Outreach Group and the Client system or otherwise called the Target Group to maximize their human potential and attributes as well as protecting and promoting the dignity and worth of their personhood being more humanitarian as consistent with the principles of human rights and social justice furthering social protection. We are also looking forward that such activity would soon be transpired into an Extension Program.

B. Target Group and Reasons for choosing it: The Clients of the Child and Family Services Philippines, Incorporated (CFSPI) Baguio City was chosen through both the endorsement of Vinculum and the deliberation that took place in the part of the Prime Movers Society as its next project holder. The Youth is the Hope of the Fatherland as Dr. Rizal had said. These Children who were victims of the repressive social order are being labeled in the society as criminals and/or hopeless people due to their involvement and/or exposure to illegal activities thus they are less likely to be given the proper respect, the proper aid, and the proper treatment due to discrimination and immediate judgment. Based on the following provisions of the Regulative Code of Ethics for Social Workers in the Philippines in which we state that:
