Field Experience II- Spring 2010 In this field experience at Norman North High School in Norman, Oklahoma, I was required to observe 50 hours of teaching at a suburban public school for my Teaching English Capstone course, EDEN 4914. Field Experience III- Spring 2011 In this field experience at Santa Fe South Charter School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, I was required to observe 30 hours of teaching at an urban public school for my School in American Cultures course, EDS 4003. Student Teaching/Internship- Fall 2011 I interned at Norman North High School teaching five sections of English III, and coteaching one section of Creative Writing I. During this internship I completed over six hundred classroom hours. Field Experience IV- Fall 2012 In this field experience at Inglewood Elementary School in Nashville, Tennessee, I was required to observe and participate in 45 hours of reading specialist coaching and intervention at an elementary school for my Literacy Assessment and Professional Development course, EDUC 3370. VOLUNTEERING AND PROJECTS Oklahoma Foundation for the Disabled, Oklahoma City, OK -June 2009 Preparing and serving dinner to adults with disabilities, playing games and socializing. The Big Event- April 2009, April 2010 Group Leader, April 2011 Group Leader Annual campus wide volunteer event that helps give back to the Norman community. The SOEA November Canned Food Drive- 2009, 2010 Organized and planned a successful month long food drive, including advertising, collecting, and delivering cans to Food & Shelter for Friends in Norman, OK. Outreach to Teach- March 2010, March 2011 Participated with my fellow SOEA members and officers, as well as OEA personnel, to clean paint and landscape an underserved school in Oklahoma City, West Oak Park Elementary School. Number Nyne Crisis Line- Spring 2011, Spring 2012 Volunteered several evenings to operate the University of Oklahoma crisis line as a counselor.

Pearson Norman, OK 11/2011-07/2012 Job as an Assistant Test Administrator includes test site preparation, administration of testing materials and management of the testing environment. The University of Oklahoma- Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education Norman, OK 01/2011-05/2012 Job as an attendant includes monitoring the Curriculum Library in Collings Hall, Room 150, re-shelving books, working the copier, organizing and assisting students.
