SERVICE TAX 10.3% FOR EACH COURSE AND EXAMINATION Venue- Theory at ISNT Chennai Chapter premises and Practical & Exams at available Labs at Chennai.

*Note 1 The course fee is inclusive of Course Material and Coffee/Tea only during Course and Examination Days. Lunch will be served at applicable an extra cost rate.

Note 2 The course fee is not inclusive of Certification Examination fee. Exam fees of Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and fifty only) + Service Tax 10.3% extra is to be paid separately by the candidates who are opting to attend the Certification Examination. Note 3 The ISNT members will be given concession of Rs 200 on each course.

For the above requirements, candidates should produce necessary documentary evidence as a proof to the satisfactory of ISNT and appointed Examiner. Note 1. The candidates are requested to bring their own non programmable Scientific Calculator 2. Candidates who wish to appear for ASNT Level- II examinations without earlier ASNT Level-I certification Shall satisfy the total hours of work experience plus class room training, and total experience duration, for the ASNT Level-I and ASNT Level-II requirements. The candidates who

are meeting the ASNT Examination requirements are only eligible for appearing the respective certification examination. 3. Following are to be enclosed by the candidate while submitting the application for certification Examination. a) 3 Pass port size Photographs (cut size to passport from bigger sizes are not allowed) b) Eye Fitness Certificate from registered Ophthalmologist certifying for Near, Far Vision and Color Blindness as per the certification scheme requirements (ASNT-SNT-TC-1A or BIS as applicable) c) Photostat Copies of the certificates for i) Educational Qualification, ii). Experience certificate from the present employer or Self-declaration certificate vetted by the client to whom they do the service, in the case of private NDT Practitioners.

2. Payment The mode of payment will be either by cash or local cheque or DD in favour of ISNT, Chennai Chapter payable at Chennai. Out station Cheque will not be accepted. The examination fee and course fee should be paid before the commencement of courses. The course fee will be refunded or adjusted for the next course only if the request is made from the participant at least one week before the commencement of the course. Anyhow, a sum of Rs.100/will be deducted towards administrative charges in case of refunding fee. If the candidate does not attend the course after registering 25% of the course fee will be deducted and the balance amount will be returned or retained for the forthcoming course based on the written request from the sponsoring organization or the candidate as applicable.

3. Fee Concession eligibility A) Students who are studying in Government /reputed Engineering colleges or Science colleges are considered for a concession of 50% of course fee. As 25% of seats are reserved in each NDT method for the students, the reservation would be made first come first basis. As the students are eligible only for attending the training Programme they need to pay only 50% of the course fee and no need to pay Exam fee. They would be provided only Participation certificate successful on full attendance of the courses. Student participants are eligible for the Certification examination only after fulfilling necessary work experience as required for the certification scheme applicable. B) The participants who bring their own equipments for practical and Examination will be given concession in the course fee as fixed by the technical committee time to time. C) The participants as nominated by the Industries who are ISNT Corporate members are also eligible to avail 20% concession on the Course fee. D) The industries who are arranging their Lab facility at free of cost for conducting Practical and Examination for all participants of the course are eligible to avail concession to their nominated participants which is as fixed by the technical committee time to time. 4. Timings A) From 9.00 to 18.00 hrs during Training days B) Examination schedule (Theory and practical) will be declared a day before the examination day.

5. ASSISTANCE FOR ACCOMMODATION Assistance for accommodation will be done by ISNT on request from the participants, if such requests are made preferably atleast one week in advance. The nearby Lodging facilities and tariff are listed in Annexure-II. The tariff given on the list are subject to change by the service provider without prior intimation .So, the participants who are in need of accommodation are requested to reconfirm the tariff by them at the time of booking. ISNT stand no Guarantee for the accommodation or for the pre-booking and rates, and can only do assistance in booking. 6. COURSE MATERIAL The course material will be issued in advance for those candidates, who have paid the course fee in full or whose cheques for course fee in full is realized on or before 15 days of the commencement date of the course.For other candidates the course material will be issued on the day of registration. 7. EXAM RESULT & CERTIFICATE ISNT-CHENNAI CHAPTER has a practice of sending the examination results and certificates to the successful candidates immediately after the declaration of the results by the examiner. At any cost, the results or any information regarding the examination will be intimated over phone 8. RENEWAL OF CERTIFICATE The ASNT/ISNT certificates will be renewed if the holder is fulfill the following :A) Valid ISNT membership on the date of renewal. B) Certificate Holder fulfills all the renewal requirements stated in the certificate scheme (ASNT-SNTTC-1A or BIS as the case) for renewal. C) Required renewal fee in the form of Demand Draft in favor of ISNT Chennai chapter The renewed certificate will be sent from the ISNT office by Mail /courier to the address specified by the candidate or his sponsor. 9. CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT OF COURSES. In case of any unavoidable circumstances, the Chapter has every right either to cancel or postpone the course with necessary intimation in advance, as the earliest possible. In such cases sponsoring organization or the participant can give their option either to refund of the course fee paid or for the adjustment of paid fee for attending the forthcoming course. For the refund option, full course fee will be refunded without any deduction to the sponsoring organization or to the participant as the case. The postponement & cancellation of Programme at Chennai Chapter preview. Participants are requested to check the confirmation of Programme with Chennai Chapter Office before the commencement of Programme at least 15 days and also confirm their availability to the Courses as registered.
