Paws4Ever to hold annual barbeque to benefit animals Mebane, N.C. Paws4Ever will hold its annual June Jam and Backyard Barbeque to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the organization. The event will feature barbeque, music and a silent and live auction. The barbeque will be held June 16 from 6:30-10 p.m. at Paws4Ever. More than 100 items will be auctioned, including a one-week vacation to Kiawah Island, S.C. in a home that sleeps 10. Paws4Ever is a nonprofit organization and our continued existence is dependent on donations and events like the June Jam and Backyard Barbeque, said Joanne Andruscavage, executive director. The June Jam and Backyard Barbeque supports the mission of Paws4Ever as a no-kill sanctuary and training center. Chandler Foods will sponsor the barbeque and Carolina Brewery will sponsor beer.
