books of the Western world that best embody essential knowledge. Definition 2: Curriculum is those subjects that are most useful for living in contemporary society. Definition 3: Curriculum is all planned learnings for which the school is responsible. Definition 4: Curriculum is all the experiences learners have under the guidance of the school. Definition 5: Curriculum is the totality of learning experiences provided to students so that they can attain general skills and knowledge at a variety of learning sites. Definitions of Curriculum

A body of knowledge that is a framework and guide to allow students to reach their potential. It teaches them skills needed to survive as productive citizens. A menu of opportunities that allow a student to develop the thinking and being skills necessary to succeed in life and to pursue mental and physical well-being. Curriculum is the content of a course and the learning processes of students and teachers leading to the "ideal" graduate. A guide for content process in a relevant, open-ended, flexible approach to guiding thoughtful learners. Is a process of learning and discovery which utilizes any means necessary to enhance students' abilities to recognize and explore their ignorance. The skills, concepts and processes which enable students to answer essential questions and provide depth for the successful completion of exhibitions. An essential body of skills and knowledge which enables students and progress to continue the acquisition of new knowledge and additional skills.

A vehicle in which a "school" achieves its purpose (formal/informalintended/unintended) by allowing students to: (1) question reasoning, (2) show enthusiasm, (3) filter out essential knowledge.
