GOD OF NO IMPORTANCE

For some people of our planet earth, the
God of the Bible is unimportant. Any thought of
Him they are willing to reject. To them the God
of the Bible is not true. For these people their
gods are true and beneficial. If Jesus is true why
does He keep quite when the people reject Him?
Jesus was crucified on the Cross and He could
not save Himself, they argue.
For some other people of our planet Earth,
the God of the Bible is everything. He is their
Almighty God. He is the First and the Last. He is
the Creator. They believe that He visited the earth
wrapped in the human flesh to be the Saviour. He
is called Jesus Christ. For any man to go to
heaven, He is the only Way. He is the Truth and
Life.

On all these thoughts the Bible narration is

interesting. In the Old Testament of the Bible, Lord
Jesus Christ is called Jehovah. In the New
Testament of the Bible, Jehovah is called Jesus
Christ. Jesus came to the world to seek and to
save sinners. He died on the Cross to pay for our
sins and He rose again on the third day from the
dead for our justification. The Law of Heaven
says, And almost all things are by the law purged
with blood; and without shedding of blood is no
remission (Heb 9:22). So any sinner who
confesses his sins and receives Jesus as his
personal Saviour is washed in the precious blood
of Christ and he will escape hell fire and will enter
in to heaven. The Bible declares all have sinned
and come short of glory of God (Rom 3:23).

Therefore all need a Saviour and He is none but

Jesus Christ. The Bible declares, Neither is there
salvation in any other: for there is none other name
under heaven given among men, whereby we must
be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus means Saviour and
Christ means anointed.
Mans thoughts cannot reach more than
certain height. But the God of heaven is different.
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from
ancient times the things that are not yet done,
saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all
my pleasure (Is. 46:10). As our Creator, He
prepared salvation for all man. He fixed His own
timings to deal with the earth and the people of
the earth who reject the Saviour and His salvation.
Man is given freedom to choose the right way or
the wrong way as per His own will. We find this
in the Word of God: Behold, I set before you
this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye
obey the commandments of the Lord your God,
which I command you this day: And a curse, if
ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord
your God, but turn aside out of the way which I
command you this day, to go after other gods,
which ye have not known (Deu 11:26-28). I
call heaven and earth to record this day against
you, that I have set before you life and death,
blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that
both thou and thy seed may live (Deu 30:19). If
man goes the wrong way, the Bible warns, Gods
judgment will come upon him. But it may not come
instantly or immediately. It will come at Gods set
time. Gods word says, To every thing there is a
season, and a time to every purpose under the
heaven (Eccl 3:1). The conclusion is, Let us
hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear
God, and keep his commandments: for this is the
whole duty of man. For God shall bring every

work into judgment, with every secret thing,

whether it be good, or whether it be evil (Eccl
12: 13, 14).
God Himself fixed His own timings for His
judgments. In Gen 6:5 God said He was seeing
wickedness in man: And God saw that the
wickedness of man was great in the earth, and
that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart
was only evil continually. He also said, I will
destroy man whom I have created from the face
of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping
thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me
that I have made them (Gen 6:7). But He
declared that He fixed a time when He would do
it. And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always
strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his
days shall be an hundred and twenty years (Gen
6:3). Only after completion of the last day He
poured out His judgment of flood and killed all
the people whom He had created, except Noah
and his family, a total of 8 members. When 7 days
were left for the completion of 120 years, God
announced that He would wait only for those 7
days and nothing more. For yet seven days, and
I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days
and forty nights; and every living substance that I
have made will I destroy from off the face of the
earth (Gen. 7:4). How particular God is about
the timings He fixed to fulfill His Word!
Ahab, the King of Israel married Jezebel,
a gentile woman and she became the Queen. (She
was the daughter of Ethbaal, King of Zidoniaus).
Ahab built a temple and an altar to Baal in Samaria
at her influence (Baal was the main god of the
Caananites). She was feeding 450 prophets of
Baal from the Kings treasury. She slew all the
prophets of Jehovah on whom she could lay her
hands. When Ahab told her that Elijah had killed

her prophets, she quickly sent a message to Elijah

that she would take his life in 24 hours in retaliation
for his slaughtering the 450 Baal prophets. This
threat terrified Elijah. He expected God to kill
her at least then. But God did not do so. So Elijah
decided to run away for his life from the wicked
Queen. Even such a great prophet Elijah could
not understand why God was silent and inactive.
Because of what he thought as Gods failure
towards that wicked woman, he prayed to God
to kill him.
Similarly we too fail in our understanding
towards Gods actions and judgments. God in
His sovereign plan wanted Jezebel to live further
more till the time of His Judgment, which He
Himself fixed. Meanwhile, she planned for the
death of Naboth and destroyed his family. God
allowed it. Naboth was a righteous man, a godly
man. These types of things were taking place all
through the history. Paul was beheaded by Nero,
the Roman Emperor. Stephen was martyred in
the early Church. This all happened because God
had planned and fixed timings that at what time
and what way He should judge the matters of this
world. He is a Sovereign God. For my thoughts
are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my
ways, saith the Lord: For as the heavens are higher
than the earth, so are my ways higher than your
ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Is
55:8, 9). God fixed the awful punishment of death
to Jezebel much later, only at the hand of Jehu,
and that was fulfilled as told by God. We can see
this in 2 Kings 9: 30-37. Even a great prophet
like Elijah could not understand Gods time and
judgment for Jezebel.
Similarly God fixed different days for
different judgments. For the day of the Lord of
hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and

lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he

shall be brought low: And the loftiness of man
shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men
shall be made low: and the Lord alone shall be
exalted in that day. And the idols he shall utterly
abolish (Is. 2: 12, 17, 18). The Bible tells: There
is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the
end thereof are the ways of death (Pro 14:12).
This is the reason why the man has to pay for his
wrong ways. The Bible warns: But cowards,
traitors, perverts, murderers, the immoral, those
who practice magic, those who worship idols, and
all liarsthe place for them is the lake burning
with fire and sulfur, which is the second death
(Rev 21:8 GNB). Then a question would arise
about those who had already died. Yes, even the
dead will rise. The Bible declares, And I saw
the dead, small and great, stand before God; and
the books were opened: and another book was
opened, which is the book of life: and the dead
were judged out of those things which were
written in the books, according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of
fire. This is the second death. And whosoever
was not found written in the book of life was cast
into the lake of fire (Rev 20: 12, 14, 15). God
fixed a time and a Judgment to the planet earth.
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat
on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven
fled away; and there was found no place for them
(Rev 20: 11). God declares: And he that sat upon
the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.
And he said unto me, Write: for these words are
true and faithful (Rev 21: 5).
God made hell and heaven. Hell is for Satan
and all sinners. Heaven is for sinners who by faith
in Jesus received forgiveness of their sins and the
great Salvation and became saints. There is

therefore now no condemnation to them which

are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh,
but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of
life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the
law of sin and death (Rom 8: 1, 2).
Dear Reader! The Bible warns you not to
invite the wrath of God and hell, but to invite Jesus

as your Saviour, Lord and Master. Death comes

any moment and hell follows death (Rev 6:8).
Unless your life is hid in the Life of Jesus who
loved you and gave Himself for you, there is no
escape (Gal 2:20).

Many horrible events are happening

in the world these days. As the Lord Jesus
prophesied in Luke 21:10,11 things are now
fast happening: Then said he unto them,
Nation shall rise against nation, and
kingdom against kingdom: And great
earthquakes shall be in divers places, and
famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights
and great signs shall there be from heaven.
Many are dying with strange diseases. In
Congo a new disease called Ebola has been
killing many people. Anybody who gets this
virus will die. 90 percent such deaths took
place so far among those who got this
disease. The whole world is surprised
because it is a new disease and no medicine
is discovered. In India and other places also
new diseases are surfacing. About men
fighting against men, this has become a
common occurrence everywhere. Let us be
prepared for Rapture and be saved as per the
Lords plan for His people in Rev. 3:10

Because thou hast kept the word of my

patience, I also will keep thee from the hour
of temptation, which shall come upon all
the world, to try them that dwell upon the
earth.
