Contradictions in bible by Syed Fahad 1. God created the universe from matter / nothing.

WIS 11:17, For not without means was your almighty hand, that had fashioned the universe from formless matter .... (NAB) --------------------------JOH 1:3, All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be. (NAB) HEB 11:3, By faith we understand that the universe was ordered by the word of Go d , so that what is visible came into being through the invisible. (NAB) 2. Elohim / Jehovah created heaven and earth. GEN 1:1, In the beginning God* created the heaven and the earth. --------------------------GEN 2:4, These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they wer e created, in the day that the LORD God* made the earth and the heavens, * "God" is the translation for "Elohim." "LORD God" is the translation for "Adon ai YHWH (Jehovah)." LXX uses "God" in both verses. NAB and TAN agree with KJV. p.b. 3. God alone / and Jesus created heaven and earth. GEN 1:1, In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. The earth is set upon pillars / foundations / the seas / nothing. God's image is male / male and female. (A sexual identity issue?)

GEN 9:3, Every creature that lives shall be yours to eat. (TAN) [God was speakin g to Noah. - p.b.] MAR 7:18, And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye no t perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; 19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and g oeth out into the draught, purging all meats? Adam was / was not allowed to eat everything in the garden of Eden. God condemned / forgave Adam for eating from the tree. God made man upright / sinful. Adam / Eve is to blame for original sin. Worship of the LORD began with Cain & Abel / Seth. And the LORD had respect unto Abel a nd to his offering:

There were only / more than three people in the world when God marked Cain. GEN 4:11, And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand; 12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond sha lt thou be in the earth. Clean and unclean animals were defined in Noah's / Moses' day. GEN 7:1-3, And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark ; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. Of every clean be ast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts th at are not clean by two, the male and his female. Of fowls also of the air by se vens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth . --------------------------DEU 5:1, And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the s tatutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn the m, and keep, and do them.... (NAB) GEN 7:2, Of every clean animal, take with you seven pairs,* a male and its mate; and of the unclean animals, one pair, a male and its mate. (NAB)

GEN 7:8, Of the clean animals, of the animals that are not clean, of the birds, and of everything that creeps on the ground, 9 two of each, male and female, cam e to Noah into the ark, as God had commanded Noah. (TAN) GEN 7:15, Pairs of all creatures in which there was the breath of life entered t he ark with Noah. 16 Those that entered were male and female, and of all species they came, .... (NAB)
