Materials Thread Size 10 thread in color of choice small amount Hook Size 4 boye or 2.mm hook Misc. Size 11 seed beads 10 beads needed looped needle threader to string beads onto thread. Abbreviations Ch = chain sc = single crochet sl st = slip stitch hdc = half double crochet dc = double crochet tr = treble crochet dtr = Double treble cl = cluster stitch p = picot Close up of top sk = skip st = stitch lp = loop sp = space tog = together yo = wrap yarn over hook rnd = round cc = contrasting color mc = main color rep = repeat Close up of beaded top * Repeat from as indicated ( ) = repeat between as indicated dec = decrease, Draw up a loop in each of next 2 sts, yo, draw through all 3 loops on hook. inc = increase work 2 stitches in the same stitch. Notes (1) This bookmarker can also be made with pearl cotton size three and a size 1 hook 2.75mm ( 2) You can adjust the length by the number of ch sts you do. Just add or subtract as desired.
