CHAPTER V SUMMARY, FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATION

summary,

findings,

conclusions and recommendations of the present study based from the analysis of the data gathered.

SUMMARY This study was focused on the information system of Soulharvest Bible Baptist Church. Specifically, it aimed to answer the following questions: 1. What is the status of the existing information

system of Soulharvest Bible Baptist Church in terms of: 1.1 Organizational Directory 1.2 Ministries and Activities 1.3 Reports 2. What are the problems encountered by the

Soulharvest Bible Baptist Church that affects its performance variables? 3. What solutions are needed to address the problems encountered in the specified variables? in relation with the identified

84 4. What system can be proposed to improve the present practices of Soulharvest Bible Baptist church in disseminating information?

FINDINGS: Based on the analysis of data, the findings were as follows: 1. The status of the existing information syatem of Soulharvest Bible Baptist Church in terms of: Organizational directory was good with an

weighted mean of 2.80; ministries and activities was also good with an weighted mean of 2.85; and the reports was fair with a weighted mean of 2.13. The average weighted mean was 2.59 or good. 2. The problems encountered by the Soulharvest Bible Baptist Church that affects its performance in

terms of: Organizational directory. No existing online

information systemis the first in rank which has a frequency of 99 and the last in rank is the

difficulties and personnel management which has a frequency of 13.

majority of the respondents wanted to improve the present practices of Soulharvest Bible Baptist

Church by developing a web-based system.

87 Conclusion Based from the result and findings of this study, the researchers gave the following conclusions: 1. The status of information system of Soulharvest Bible Baptist Church in terms of organizational directory, ministries and activities, and reports were good. 2. The most majority common of the respondents found revealed in that the

directory were about no existing online information system; lack of facilities and equipment in

ministries and activities, and in reports were lack of personnel to process update. 3. To develop an online information system that will

enhance the operation of the information system of Soulharvest Bible Baptist Church needed solution, will because have an through accurate, is the most highly this system fast the and

easy procedure in the circulation system. 4. Almost all the respondents were in favored at the online information system as the system for further improvement of the Soulharvest Bible Baptist Church.

88 RECOMMENDATIONS In view of the summary, findings and conclusions, the following are study recommended. 1. The Soulharvest Bible Baptist Church gives priority to improve the present status the manual information system. 2. The church management and other concerned groups must give attention to the problems encountered and find good solution in order to meet the goals of the

organization. 3. The Soulharvest Bible Baptist Church shall implement online information system.
