Description/Applicability to Course Study Kent State- Learned to overcome my fear of public speaking and fine tuned my ability to convey my point of view to an audience of peers Kent State-Focused on proper techniques of academic writing whie honing my grammar skills Kent State-Evaluated popular media sources and how they shared their comunications, both visual and non Kent State-Learned how modern day government evolved into modern day format and how it functions Kent State-Learned about the Modern day international political environment,which included the history and termoils involved Kent State-Learned about perception and how we process information and the basics of personality traits Kent State- Studied the history and evolution of the arts and it's influence on global culter and power structures Kent State-Evaluated modern day art and it's evolution and the influene it had on popular culture of time periods Kent State- Analyzed the history of LGBT Culture and subcultures, the founding of historical movements and modern day elements of political and cultural inequalities along with the efforts used to change the systems of power Kent State- Taught to think analytically and perfected advanced problem solving skills Kent State- Studied the cosmos, the history and evolution of Scientific concepts to actively comprehend the forces that govern the universe
