"They will know we belong to Jesus if we love them the way God loves us."~ Joel A'Bell

These things we do That others may live!

TAKING BACK THE LAND

We are in a war. While we may not be picking up physical weapons, each day we have a choice to site back and watch the battle unfold or to charge in full force for God. Either way we are risking our lives. The question is, would you rather die from a stray bullet or from a direct attack?

Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them. ~ Joshua 1:6
Relief Base, I take them to the area around Penn Station in NYC, and we do just that - search for the lost and allow Christ to touch them through us. I have had some of my most rewarding as well as most challenging ministry experiences during these times, but the opportunity to remind someone that God loves them and they aren't forgotten is worth ghting for! In the coming weeks and months I am looking to expand our search and rescue efforts into more areas of NYC. Please pray for me as I follow God's call to take His love and hope to the streets!

Working at The Relief Bus puts me on the front lines of this life and death battle every day. As we go out and serve, we are taking back the land and the people for God. It really is a battle, but we know where our strength and victory lie! One way that God is calling me to ght this war is through a search and rescue effort on the streets of NYC. The Relief Bus serves thousands of people each week. The reality is, that's only a small drop in the bucket. There are thousands more who need the love and compassion of Christ to touch their lives. Each week we have a team of volunteers staying with us at The

Tanya comes to The Relief Bus to be reminded of God's love for her.

of Methadone detox, and just being a friend were what it took to show Megan the love of God. Because of this, I was able to start studying the Bible and going to church with me. She asked questions and began to really seek and pray for herself. And little by little I began to see the re of God being fanned into a burning ame in her life. As we were reading in Matthew about Jesus getting baptized, Megan made the decision that she too was ready to take that step of faith. Finally, on that bright and sunny August morning, Megan sank beneath the waters to be raised to a new life and a new hope in Christ. Praise God for another life forever changed!

Megan is a living example of the power of God working to change lives!
