LISTENING AND SPEAKING LESSON PLAN Venue Year Level of Language Proficiency Focus Theme Topic Introduction : SK.

Tanjung Labian, Lahad Datu, Sabah : Year 1 : Average : Listening and Speaking : World of Knowledge : I See Colours : This lesson focuses on Listening and Speaking. The pupils will be guessing and pronouncing the colours. Content Standards : 1.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to pronounce words and speak confidently with the correct stress, rhythm and intonation. 1.3 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to understand and respond to oral texts in a variety of contexts. Learning Standards : 1.1.3 Able to listen to, say aloud and recite rhymes or sing songs with guidance. 1.1.4 Able to talk about a stimulus with guidance. 1.3.1 Able to listen and demonstrate understanding of oral texts by : (a) Giving Yes/No Replies (b) Answering Simple Wh-Questions. Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to : i) Listen and say the words correctly.
