COURSE BACKGROUND Financial Modeling and Valuation are the key "building block" skills required in today's business, banking and financial services world. This training program is designed to provide anyone who needs to make financial decisions with a wide range of fundamental, analytical and forecasting skills. Valuation Matrix The course involves analysis of corporate valuation techniques, their appropriate application and their advantages and disadvantages. It considers a wide range of quantitative and qualitative factors that determine valuations. Case Study Approach Real-world case studies across industries are used to help participants build a framework of growth model, use valuation multiples to identify under and over valued companies, forecast cash flows to produce discounted cash flow valuations, construct steady financial models and model outputs to varying scenarios. Hands-on Training Hands-on training helps participants build these financial, valuation and LBO models on their own from scratch in our state-of-the-art labs.

The techniques taught in the course are intended to be of immediate practical use in the workplace!

The course begins at 10.00 am & concludes at 6.00 pm daily

Participants who complete the workshop successfully will receive a BIFM training certificate

COURSE DIRECTOR Premananda Panda has spent ten years working as research head and investment banker in India. He has principally worked in the equity markets as lead analyst on Indian corporate. He also has experience in corporate finance transactions including mergers, IPO's and capital raisings and has been Head of Private Equity at Karvy Investor Services in Mumbai. He holds a bachelors degree in commerce and is an associate member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

For lab sessions, personal one-on-one assistance is provided. The instructor will also offer any additional help if required.

Procedures and Policies

CANCELLATION POLICY Participants who cancel or don't attend, are liable to pay the full course fee and no refund will be given. Also, the fee cannot be transferred to any other batch. CONDUCT Smoking, drinking, eating, chewing gum etc.. is strictly prohibited inside the campus. The institute reserves the right to expel a student on account of indiscipline or misconduct. COPYRIGHT BIFM handouts, PPTs, Tests, Excel Worksheets or any other material for training must not be duplicated or reproduced in any form. No part may be stored in any retrieval system. It must not be transmitted by any means, whether photocopying or recording, electronic or mechanical without the prior written permission of BIFM. Making copies of any portion for any purpose other than your own is a violation of Indian copyright laws.
