Kudrat Dev B.A., LL.B.- 2nd Year It is incredible that a second year B.A. L.L.B student can get placed with not just an international law firm, but with White & Case, one of the top corporate law firms in the world. This is truly extraordinary and I am honoured to be a part of Jindal Global Law School, which is equipped with a unique Career Development and Placement Division (CDPD). CDPD guides and supports the student through the entire process of sending applications and CVs, securing the offer letter, procedure related to the visa, pre-internship preparation and carrying forward the learning experience post-internship in the form of research papers. A.C. Chummar LL.B.- 2nd Year The opportunities that have been provided to me by the Career Development and Placement Division were beyond my expectations. The hard work of the members of the CDPD helped me obtain my dream internship with White & Case, Singapore and also a second internship with AZB & Partners in Mumbai. Shipra Jain LL.B. - 2nd Year Understanding how the judicial system and justice actually works, has always been one of my dreams, and the reasons for which I chose to study law. I always wanted to be a part of the judicial system in India. CDPD has helped me in realizing this dream by helping me get an internship as a Law Researcher for a Judge in the Supreme Court. I am very grateful for this opportunity.

Yashaswini Mittal B.A., LL.B. - 2nd Year The internship opportunities provided by the CDPD are fantastic. Last year I interned at the Central Information Commission. It was an extremely rewarding experience as I undertook extensive research on the Right to Information Act. I also wrote a research paper on this topic which was selected as the 2nd best research paper at the First JGLS Student Research Colloquium. This year, I have been given an exceptional opportunity to intern with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, something that I have always wanted to do as I wish to pursue a career in Public International Law. The CDPD secured these coveted internships in my first and second year itself, usually a rare scenario for a young law student. These opportunities are going to benefit me a lot in my career ahead. Neha Sangwan B.A., LL.B. - 1st Year Jindal Global Law Schools Career Development and Placement Division mandates internships as part of the curriculum in the first year itself. Finding an internship requires great research, planning, effort and resources. As a first year student, I was completely clueless about where to intern and how to go about the process. The CDPD at JGLS facilitated a prestigious internship with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). While placing students, CDPD also takes into consideration various factors including the ease of accommodation, student interest, special needs etc. which is of great help.
