Rules

No entries will be accepted without the appropriate fees All entrants must be registered or eligible for registration with the appropriate breed society or register appropriate to their breed or type All foals must be 12 weeks or over on the day of the show No mares will be allowed into the show ring, collecting ring or surrounding area All youngstock must be under control and an exhibitor may be asked to leave if their horse/pony is judged to be causing a danger to others Colts over 2yrs must be bitted No horse or pony to be left unattended tied to a lorry or trailer Correct and safe dress to be worn at all times Any objection must be made in writing together with a deposit of 15.00, which will only be refunded if the objection is upheld An exhibitor may not exhibit an animal bred, sold, leased or produced by the judge or his/her immediate family Exhibits in the Young Handlers Classes must be foals, yearlings, or 2/3yr olds, but must be suitable for the age and capabilities of the handler. May be asked to leave the ring if this is not the case Dogs must be kept on a short lead and under control at all times Photographer in attendance please notify if you do not want to be photographed THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL ENTRIES ARE ACCEPTED ON THE ASSUMPTION THAT EXHIBITORS HAVE READ THESE RULES

Legal Liability
Neither the organisers, nor any person acting on their behalf accept any liability for loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horse, rider, spectator or any person, property whatsoever.

Health & Safety


Exhibitors are strongly advised to wear a riding hat/helmet whilst handling and showing in-hand Young Handler entrants must wear riding hats/helmets whilst handling and showing The event organisers have taken every reasonable precaution to ensure the health, safety and welfare of those present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable measures to avoid and prevent accidents. All displayed instructions, safety notices and instructions given by Judges and Officials MUST BE complied with Members of the public are not allowed into the horse area and horses are not allowed into the area reserved for members of the public
