My Gift to You for Being Part of My Community

Few weeks ago I had the opportunity to learn about the Volunteer Income
Tax Assistance (VITA) program of the IRS and had access to their kit of
materials in the Community Action Agency in my area. The Internal Revenue
Service has organized a set of theoretical and practical manuals with
material for volunteers that covers the basis of a simple tax return
preparation. These manuals are very illustrative and make it much easier for
volunteer to do their job.
Taking a look inside the manuals, I saw all these wonderful charts and tables
summarizing the concepts that I know some of you may be struggling to
understand or recall for your competency examination. I couldnt resist the
impulse to find the way to put them together and make it available to you to
help make your preparation easier.
So, I set aside some time and worked out a way you can use these charts
and tables while reading your study materials, to reinforce your
understanding of some of the tricky tax concepts you may be struggling
with.
The charts and tables are titled and organized in a table of content in the
first page of this report; they are not in any specific order. You should look
the table of content to locate a topic you are reviewing to figure out if a
summary of that topic is included. When you find it, just click the title in the
table of content and it will bring you to the page where the table or chart is.
You can print the pages or use them from your computers screen.
Hope you enjoy it!
Yours truly
