Unit 4 Boiler Rehabilitation Project TNBG Kapar Power Station

RM32,000,000.00 March / April 2004 Rehabilitation Work for one (1) unit 300MW IHI boiler. The scope involved tube bending, panel fabrication and site erection works for superheaters (20 panels), outlet re-heaters (500 panels) and one outlet steam header (20 tons). The reheater tubes were fabricated, acid washed, steam cleaned and painted at our factory in Nilai. The re-heater outlet header was supplied by the OEM. A 100% radiographic test was conducted on all weld joints. Kuala Langat Power Station HRSG B16 Performance Improvement Project, Msia.
RM920,000.00 February 2004 The HRSG (Alstom-CE Design) located at the paper mill is coupled to one GE Fr5 and one GE Fr6 gas turbine. The upgrade would increase the superheated steam flow capacity by 3 kg/s. Tenaga Tiub was the sub-contractor responsible for fabrication, supply and installation of a new desuperheater, steam separators, pipe hangers, bellows, safety valves, process control valves, electrical works, and process control & instrumentation system. The engineering design and commissioning was undertaken by Alstom Power (Australia).

RM1,650,000.00 July 1998 October 1998 EPCC Contractor for the design, procurement, manufacture and construction (including foundation plinth), testing and commissioning of a packaged self contained outdoor weatherproof type Mitsubishi diesel genset for the Newsprint Mill emergency services supply. Design aspects include synchronising and interfacing with the Mill power plant at 11kV. Of significance in this project is the short delivery time (to site) of 10 weeks for a large-sized diesel genset and a specially designed enclosure with enhanced sound attenuation of 80dBA at 1 metre.
