Tour Itinerary Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D) Welcome to Vietnam, let's us be your travel agent in Vietnam and show you treasures of Vietnam. Today, upon arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport, our tour guide will greet and transfer you by private car to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam. In the evening, you will enjoy welcomed dinner at local restaurant with authentic Vietnamese cuisines. Stay overnight in Hanoi hotel. Day 2: Hanoi Mai Chau (B) We leave Hanoi for Mai Chau which is located in green valley that is inhabited by several ethnic minorities, including Hmong and Thai peoples. After 3 hours driving in mountainous area, we will be arrival at the Thai village of Ban Lac where we will stay overnight with the locals. The whole afternoon, you will discover the village with tour guide. First, we stop to visit the head of community to go along the history of The Thai People, culture, traditions, festivals.... In the evening, enjoy a musical presentation by local dancers and singers. At the end, we try traditional Ruou Can (rice wine) from a long-curved reed. Stay overnight in Mai Chau. Day 3: Mai Chau Hanoi Sapa (B) In the morning, take a walk to the local market. Here we see some of very interesting foods like bamboo shoots, bee honey, local textile then continue to visit the surrounding. In the afternoon, we leave Mai Chau for Hanoi. In the evening, you will transfer to Hanoi Train Station to embark on the overnight train to Sapa. Stay overnight on train. Day 4: Sapa day tour (B) Today, upon arrival at Lao Cai Train Station around 6 am, we will drive up to Sapa which is located 1600 m high above the sea level, enjoy breakfast at local restaurant and visit Sapa Market and The Black Hmong Village of Cat Cat. In the afternoon, By visiting the Zay Village of Ta Van, The Black Mong Village of Lao Chai and The Red Dao Village of Ta Phin, we can view most intriguing work & collection of ancient designs of local weaver, enjoy bast fiber (smashing, bleaching...), visit indigo or hemp farms and study batik & tritik technique and H'mong and Dzao textiles. In the evening, free at leisure. Stay overnight in Sapa hotel. Day 5: Sapa Bac Ha Hanoi (B) Today, we drive from Sapa to Bac Ha, 100 Km away. Bac Ha is a small town that is famous for its colorful Sunday market. The Flower H'mong women wear checkered head scarves and brightly colored tops and skirts decorated with elaborate embroidery. The main goods on sale here are livestock such as buffalos,

pigs, chickens, and horses, local products like rice wine, household items, brightly dyed wool, hill tribe garments, and ethnic handicrafts such as jewelry, baskets, and textiles. After visiting the market, drive back to Lao Cai Tran Station for overnight train to Hanoi. On the way, visit the border gate between Vietnam and China. At 9 pm embark and stay overnight on train. Day 6: Hanoi Danang Hoian (B) Upon arrival in Hanoi, transfer to Noi Bai Airport for a short flight to Danang, and then continue to Hoian. Hoian is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, mainly because of its Chinese, Japanese and European influenced architecture. In the afternoon, relax on Cua Dai Beach or spend time to visit silk and handicraft villages along the Thu Bon River. The evening is on your own schedules. Stay overnight at hotel in Hoian. Day 7: Hoian (B, D) This morning, Visit highlights of Hoian including Japanese Covered Bridge, Phung Hung House, Chinese Assembly Hall, Quan Ong Pagoda, visit Thanh Ha Pottery Village by boat. In the afternoon, enjoy cooking demonstration and market tour with local chef. The market tour will give you an insight not just into the scents and flavor of Vietnamese herbs and spices but also market culture - how to bargain and where to buy your goods. Our chef will talk you through today's dishes then leading you through each dish, giving you plenty of opportunity to get involved and try your hand at reproducing the flavors for dinner. Dine on the dishes you have just prepared. We will also supply you with a recipe containing all the information you need to reproduce an authentic taste back home. Your evening is at leisure. Stay overnight in Hoian hotel. Day 8: Hoian - Hue (B) Today we travel along the Mandarin Road from Hoian to the imperial city of Hue. On the way, stop to visit Non Nuoc Beach, one of the best beaches in Vietnam and visit the Cham Museum and drive over the 'Pass of Ocean and Clouds'. In the evening, free at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Hue Day 9: Hue (B) Rise for an early breakfast, followed by a visit to the city's vibrant Dong Ba Market then The Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument, depart to the Hue Royal Fine Arts Museum. The afternoon dragon boat trip on The Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda allows you to explore history Buddhism in Vietnam then visit King Minh Mang's Tomb and King Khai Dinh's Tomb, the contrast of traditional and modern architectures. Overnight in Hue hotel Day 10: Hue - Hochiminh City (B, D) Today transfer to the airport for a short flight to dynamic Ho Chi Minh city, followed by an orientation visit to the former Presidential Palace, the War Remnants Museum, the Colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. The afternoon tour leads you to China Town where you will visit Thien Hau Temple and Quan Am Pagoda. Tonight, you will experience true southern hospitality at local restaurant with southern taste dinner. Stay overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Day 11: Ho Chi Minh Departure (B) Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then transfer to the airport for home departure.
